  • uhh .. more roland. =D funny guy nick.

  • not relevent? A pox on you for being so negative! Their new album went straight to NUMBER 1 on itunes. Their new video is currently number 2 on Billboard, so your negative comment is hearby ERADICATED! They are VERY RELEVENT

  • I'm also a fan, but unfortunately Duran Duran aren't very relevant anymore...

In the 80's they were pretty boys, international playboys, heartthrobs, girls lusted after them, guys wanted to be them.

When they had all that going for them, they could pull off songs with ambiguous lyrics and be cool, wear odd clothes and be fashionable, because they were making the fashion and setting the trends....

Today they don't have that influence. looking forward to their album nonetheless.

  • Dom blows .... absolutely zero feel.

  • "More Roland" LOL

So glad that the Boys still have it ^_^

    Much luffs!!

    MeOw!

  • I don't mean this in any disrespectful way. but it freaks me out to see DD age. I know it's a part of life and we all go through it, but I grew up with these guys and it's just a bit scary how seeing these guys now reminds me how quickly life goes by.

  • @BirthofCharlie Yeah, but they are ok after all. There are other bands much worse and dead too.

  • @BirthofCharlie: They've aged amazingly well though . . . They look awesome!

  • @BirthofCharlie HI...just responding to your comment about watcing duran duran age. I too feel the same. I was exposed to duran duran as 12 year old and im 40 next month. I have always bought into everything they have done. All the albums inside out; defended them as if it were a part of my family when under criticism and sold them to other people as if I was getting paid for it. I watch youtube stuff and you can see the years rolling past and what was my youth is approaching middle age...

  • @BirthofCharlie ...duran duran are my youth - the backdrop to teenage years. The excitement of the 80s. They were ever present to me in the 90s despite their lack of success and wandering around at times in experimental waters. THe 00s brought excitment with andy and roger taylor rejoining. It was a full circle almost as if it were time standing still. But, of course, it doesnt for anyone. I now wonder how long duran duran will continue? I dunno. I think maybe a few years yet..

  • @BirthofCharlie ...and back to your point, time goes by so fast. Life is short. What is a lifespan in comparison to the time before your life and the time to unfold after it? Nothing but something less than a blip. All you can do is enjoy it. Be grateful for your health. Be happy as much as you can and do the best you can to fulfill your potential. Along the way, listen to artists with integrity and courageous and artistic spirit. Listen to duran duran.

  • good thing duran duran dropped the timberjerks. they are played out.

  • love it! Nick is so cool.

  • i love them since 1980 ..when i was young ..but I 'm the same again as them ..forever young forever OF THE FEW BEST MUSIC BAND IN THE WORLD ..I like so much watching at them in these type of videos ..in studio ..as natural GREAT BAND !

  • @kkmarianna88 i totally agree there,i have been a fan since the off,i was 11 in 1980,didn't get into them till i was around 13 had have loved them since,i am now 40

  • I've heard a snippet of the new Duran Duran. It sounds very promising, Has anyone else heard it yet?

  • The Timberland-Timerlake episode was probably a needed enterprise for the band, but most of the album sucked (even speaking as a long-term DD fan)

  • I hope and pray that the James Bond people see sense and bring Duran back for the next title song. Imagine Duran working with david arnold and mark ronson on production....KAPOW!!

  • stop imagine this duran duran sing along david bowie in the next bond´s movie!!!!! KABOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM and the sound have been hear in Corfu....lol

  • @musicalglenn: That would so seriously rock!

  • Love DD

  • haha nick, you're so adorable. :D

  • thanks for posting. very interesting. great band

  • I like the Timberjerks but not for Duran, they should of known better. Mmmmm Nick, your yummy.

  • It's fun to see Nick playing the ever-exuberant ambassador for DD!

  • I love DD from long time ago, every work. I love so much RCM too. Their creativity is still high. They have a very great passion. My life is in their music. I like Andy, but i love so much more Dom: his solo work is so deep and high. Dom in DD e solo forever!

  • oh I am soo glad I saw them in concert , they were awsum!

  • Hooray! For the band UNADULTERATED! Timbaland is a twat. Those geezers that did "Jizz in my Pants" have proven his sound can be achieved by anyone!

Nick, your Brummie accent is nearly extinct and I'd like to nibble your neck.

Not making sense cos I'm excited - go and make beautiful music my pretties.

  • well said!

  • I am glad they still are playing. I have not heard from them for a VERY LONG time. I have missed their all appearances on tv shows until, well, now (thanks to youtube). Best of success on finally going solo and producing their own music/album. They are still charming as ever.

  • God I hate the names Timbaland, Timberlake and Nate hills----ALL DOUCHEBAGS!!!!!!!!!

  • If you go back and listen to most of the great old Duran Duran songs they are written around Andy's guitar licks as the base with everyone playing off of that. They will never reach that magic again without Andy and I hate saying that because I love them so much.

  • VAMOS DURAN DURAN CARAJO !!! SIMON OUR FUCKIN DADDY !!! WHE WAIT YOUR FANTASTICS LYRICS, COME ON !!!! Mark Ronson, OK !! Justin and Timba, fuckin thieves !!!!

  • Timbaland and Justin, Fuck you !!! Sony, la re c...de tu madre !!! Thieves !!!! Come on DURAN DURAN !!! OLE OLE OLE OLE, DURAAAN, DURAAANN !!!

  • RIGHT ON!!! I could not agree with you more my friend. Those douchbags ruined them. Sounds like their back though:-)

  • hahah omg it's wrong:

i wanted to say... I CAN'T WAIT! xD

  • OMG! I CAN WAAAIT!!! *---*

  • Is John`s hair falling out at the front, because he seems to have worn a strange hair style, for a number of years now?

  • Hey guys you never stop working !!! I'm really eager to have their next album, it surelly will be great as anytime...!

Thanks a lot for posting this vid, BeMyIconDD.

  • Wurlitzer SideMan - 1950s Tube Drum Machine

  • C'MON GUYS

  • I think I'm going to like this album. DD are working with Mark Ronson and Nick Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs). Mark ROnson said "Im such a fan that I know what a Duran Duran fan would want to hear". Well, let's hope so.....I liked what DD and Mark Ronson did together in Paris (Louvre concert) and I love Kaiser Chiefs..

  • I can't wait for the new album! should be very good as usual :)

  • Und wann kommt dann das neue Album??2013????und wer verläßt die Band?Roger???ich persönlich hoffe aber, das alles glatt läuft und wir das neue DD Album bald in den Händen halten!
