Dear friend..many thanks for sharing this awesome song from my favorite star...*****and a fav...have a great 2010.....stay healthy....until soon....Peace..Manni
cos hes dressed like a childrens tv presenter singing to ten year olds, prefered him in his earlir incantation of kind of beat jazz poet circa "cuttin out of there"
djboony - Actually that was a hip way to dress in those days. You can't judge the past by present day standards.
Donovan has several guises and one of them is fairy tales and children's songs, which he has always been good at; that is in his blood as a Celtic poet.
He made two albums geared towards kids (after his daughter was born), I'm guessing this was probably one of those songs written for his daughter and other children
vaughntrapp - That was quite a renegade thing to do in that day on television, to sing about 'pee', especially from the perspective of astronauts. A very creative song. It was also renegade for some teenage girls' heartthrob to sing fairy tales to children. I loved all Donovan did back then and love it still. It was pre-cynicism, pre-punk, when the young could have fun being young and free.
Awesome, thanks so much for this one too...it really rocks, I absolutely love Donovan and this video is a really good one of him...I wish I could see him in concert someday. You've done so much to help me out with these videos, in fact you've made more videos for my channel than I have! It really rocks :D
donovan is a rock poet second to none...i saw him live twice when i was younger...incredible performer/musician..thanks 'preistguyproductions'for this great audio/video treat! 5stars*****
WTF is he wearing?

PS from zephyrquartz -
The reference to astronauts was another song Donovan sang about peeing in outer space. Check it out.
