port 80 may be blocked by your ISP or Skype..change it to 8081 in the port forward and at dyndns.com for host do "youripgoeshere:8081"

Also remeber to turn the server on! That's why you get a 403 forbidden

@gigafide thanks for the video. I download a template which is basically a PHP and HTML website. I moved all the files over and I get an error. FATAL STACK or something to that effect. Any ideas? Obviously I'm using WAMP. I typed in localhost. I can access images but I can't access the PHP files to be displayed in the web browser.

Do you need a server OS such as ubuntu server edition to host your own websites or is it possible to install wamp on a normal OS and have it working?

Save the index file as a .HTML document, dont edit its name to .html afterwards.

It should be -head- and not -header- same goes for the "-/" tag.

You could have a index.HTML file and then a folder named "FTP" in the same folder as the index file. So localhost/ftp would bring up a simple display in your browser where people can browse that folder. Add some folder like music and pictures and upload stuff you would like to share

@dinkymarshall1 No it doesnt its completely diffrent, go to wiki.bukkit.org to learn how to set up a minecraft server, and use PFport checker to see if the default minecraft port open which is 25565, if it isn't open go to command line and ipconfig or ipconfig/all and get your internal ip and type it in on your web browser and do port forward for 25565 as your port.

so, I did everything as instructed, but it doesn't seem to work with the name. when i type in my localhost or the local ip it works and shows the html file i created, but when i type in the name i set up with dyndns it doesnt appear to work. my router was a bit different, but i think i set it up correctly. any thoughts? im with bell, if that helps at all XD
