  • The question is why we aren't using Decaborane in pyrotechnics already. It's probably less toxic than barium.

  • Triethylborane is pyrophoric.

  • Brilliant video, did you do this in a fume hood?

  • No, it was done in the open shed, with plenty of fresh air (although great care still has to be taken not to breathe in any of the gas).
