There are no camera tricks in this lottery prediction. The real secret is very clever. Darren is just a very good magician and because people can't work these things out so it's easier to say a camera trick.
Why did he work out the averages from the group? The other times a neautral did it. He knew that the numbers would be wrong so he didnt let anyone from the group see. He switched them somehow later for the real numbers.
I'm not saying I know how he does everything...or even that he didn't use a split screen.. but he doesn't call himself a magician hes a psycologist or whatever you wanna call it... He makes people THINK he does all this stuff!!

He revealed the video of how he did it. He has never lied about it. You should read his book.
another clue is the fact that you see the camera moving. I know it sounds contradictory, but why would this be shot handheld, the only reason would be to convince people that there are no splitscreens used (you would see one side, the other would stay still. But then why doesnt't it? Well, if you look more closely at the sort of movements the camera makes, they don't really seem natural, it's like a set of programmed moves executed by a machine, which would of course make split screen possible

If you look at his previous work he is trying to draw our attention to the way we are manipulated - for example by advertising. In this case it is the lottery - he is clearly suggesting we are being conned if we play this game.

I agree with you. Worked it out. Split screen is done on a locked off HD camera. Then a smaller section is taken from the image and enlarged. Man with joystick moves "pan and scan" section of the larger image to make it look hand-held. There is one point where there is a VERY slight zoom-in, then out. Real cameraman would not have done that! See the point where director switches back to live shot on left because left-hand ball moves up slightly where assistant didn't pat it down properly.

If he is banned from betting there is a logical reason for it. If you look at roulette it could be because it is fixed. If you know this you could place your bets accordingly. For example if it fixed based on the bets placed - you would need a quick sharp mind for this - you could win every time.

There are no camera tricks in this lottery prediction. The real secret is very clever. Darren is just a very good magician and because people can't work these things out so it's easier to say a camera trick.

The main thing that tells me it was fake:
Why did he work out the averages from the group? The other times a neautral did it. He knew that the numbers would be wrong so he didnt let anyone from the group see. He switched them somehow later for the real numbers.

He never claims to be "magical" in any way on the contrary, he states that he is not, and that everything he does is either misdirection, or set up before hand, like flipping a coin and getting 10 head in a row, he spend hours flipping the same coin with the camera rolling, and they just cut the clip. He revealed the video of how he did it. He has never lied about it. You should read his book.

another clue is the fact that you see the camera moving. I know it sounds contradictory, but why would this be shot handheld, the only reason would be to convince people that there are no splitscreens used (you would see one side, the other would stay still. But then why doesnt't it? Well, if you look more closely at the sort of movements the camera makes, they don't really seem natural, it's like a set of programmed moves executed by a machine, which would of course make split screen possible

If you look at his previous work he is trying to draw our attention to the way we are manipulated - for example by advertising. In this case it is the lottery - he is clearly suggesting we are being conned if we play this game.

A totally blind guy who demonstrates the incredible power of the human brain by perceiving walls and the exact shape of a car through nothing more than clicking his tongue & listening to the sound coming back almost made Brown ejaculate in his pants with awe. I agree with you. Worked it out. Split screen is done on a locked off HD camera. Then a smaller section is taken from the image and enlarged. Man with joystick moves "pan and scan" section of the larger image to make it look hand-held. There is one point where there is a VERY slight zoom-in, then out. Real cameraman would not have done that! See the point where director switches back to live shot on left because left-hand ball moves up slightly where assistant didn't pat it down properly.

If he is banned from betting there is a logical reason for it. If you look at roulette it could be because it is fixed. If you know this you could place your bets accordingly. For example if it fixed based on the bets placed - you would need a quick sharp mind for this - you could win every time.
