I was a singer in my high school days. A state choir high tenor back in 1986. Steve Perry was my inspiration. People told me I sounded just like him. I even tried out for bands after college. But always froze up in front of crowds. Steve had the most amazing voice I've ever heard. I feel I still have a great voice. And I'm sure Steve does too. If there were a way Steve and I could do a duet today, I would love it!

Steve Perry always been my favorite singer since the 80s, Im hard of hearing but can understand many of his songs and sing along with them. My daughter was raised on Journey and he always had a harmony to his voice that we love. I missed a chance to see him at concerts. He still looks great today as he did back in the 80s... Apparently he has been to 3 or 4 of the BEST vocal coaches in the country and he just can't sing anymore. .. too bad. ... I was 21 when I saw Journey the 1st time. that was 1981 for the "Escape" tour. it was one of the best shows I'd ever seen the Laser light show was incredible.

we were right at the stage. I've never seen so many sets of boobies live as I did THAT night. holy cow all the chicks flashed Journey. they were the premier love song band. most kids loved that band and so did the parents at the time as well. so many top hits everyone knew all the words to the songs.
