Great solo. I'd love to learn it the chord progression, but am having trouble figuring it out. Is it in standard tuning? I know there's an extra string (bass string right?), but aside from that is it open G?
I really love listening to people who expand on musical traditions without destroying the original essence. A true respect for the original tune. This is a great performance and creative production, I hope there are more to come, but from what I can gather you are a busy banjo maker too.
Dan. I don't know if you will remember me or not. I sat on the floor with you in the clarksville gym and you frailed my gold granada a couple years ago. I would love to jam with you again. I have been working hard. love the 6 string. well played.
Wow, Dan I had no idea what an amazing player you were; I thought you were 'only' a master craftsman...wonderful!

I've been playing claw hammer for 40 years and just love the way that you play Sally Ann. Ay chance that you have a tab that you could share?

Looks like a young Dock Boggs :) lol. Smooth pickin' though, it's got that earthy ring to it.

Stunning.! Ive got an old 1880s fretless 6 string that needs restoring, this makes me want to crack on with it right away.

Saw this guy at a festival near Cairo, Il., where the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers meet. Great musician, great showman.
