Am I the only one that thinks that the more recent stuff from Ensiferum isn't as good as this masterpiece album?

I don't know.... I feel they lost the good cheesy stuff and went to a more generic metal sound.

Maybe I am just biased as I used to listen to this album while playing EQ and with friends during our DnD nights. I always considered Ensiferum as Geek metal rather than Viking metal.

Maybe I am a stubborn douchebag not giving the other albums a good objective chance, but, I don't know...

True man. I always get more of a "steadfast and brave hero in a fantasy world" vibe from Ensiferum's first three albums. I like that more than the retarded, pretentious "derrrr, viking sons of nooooooorth" crap that every other band spews out these days. Ensiferum even described themselves as "Heroic Folk Metal".
