Raisin was last produced in 1975. When I was produced and directed it in June 2009, I was told by the publisher that it was only the first time it had been presented in NYC after its Broadway run. At my production I was honored to have in the audience Broadway cast members Joe Morton and Ernestine Jackson - Walter Lee and Ruth. As well as the composer, Judd Woldin.
