At first I really didn't much like this album. However, recently I've been pulling out CD's I rarely listen to, just because I'm tired of my usual stuff.

I gave up on this too soon.

Although there's nothing here that matches "And Then There Was Silence", this album is very good. I find Hansi's voice on it a litlle grating at times, but the composition is brilliant.

Wrong you are about the simplisticness of their songs. Bright eyes yes, it is simple, but it has more melody than this song, and a very great melody. Also, fly is harder to play than you think, not only is it technical but also the meloy is simply amazing. I like old blind guardian, and to be honest, the accent matched with the style of music. How can you hate folk? the songwriting is amazing, traditional blues is boring and follows the same progression. Jazz is improv and great but the songwriting and traditional jazz and jazz fusion from what I have heard thus far sounds like it's just wanking. As far as songwriting listen to joan biaz and say you hate folk, hell listen to folk rocker richard thompson and say that.

Do you know Malmsteen the legendary power guitarest. Well guess what, emagine that on a slap bass, that is blues, Blues Piano is "THE HARDEST" type of music to play on a Piano. Jazz, it depends on the instrument. I think Saxiphone Jazz and Piano Jazz is brilliant.

Again, all folk I do not like, I listened to Biaz, it does not apeal to me. Like I said, I prefure Blue Grass over Folk.
