I disagree- as much as you may feel 3DS will or is a failure- i highly doubt Nintendo has anything to worry about. That device will sell through the roof- just give it the time it needs- ill just sit back grab some popcorn and enjoy my 3DS as i watch the show.

3DS has been top selling system in JP for 8 weeks now- and continues to grow strong- Nintendo knows what they are doing man- i'm telling u, just wait for the devs to really get behind it- its going to explode.

I think you're overreacting a little bit. Handhelds may be turning to shit but I think 360 and especially PS3 still have at least a couple good years. We'll see what happens with the next consoles but I expect them to be good. I agree about the nickel and diming though, some of the stuff that these companies have pulled, Crapcom in particular, is despicable.

The spice and feeling of what sucked us into gaming needs to be brought back. Halo died at 2-3, dont know about gears. and PC gaming is struggling. consoles are were the real big bucks are at and thats were game companies are going nowadays.
