The original Starcraft was a game of rock paper scissors as well. Saying that it's balanced is absolute bollocks, considering scenarios like this: you send out marines. Siege tanks rape marines. Banshees rape siege tanks. Marines rape banshees. There are entire builds in pro-league developed to take care of other builds, which is why pros do not play random. It's a valid criticism that you don't like unit design, but it's not really a palpable complaint.
to Wiikspeak: Nice vid, but what your saying about the rock paper scissors stuff isn't completely true. Since they are showing us the game for the first time in all these videos, they will use the rock paper scissors technique to show each individual unit. The just want to show you what the unit is good for, clearly they can do more then just counter, but rock paper scissors is the perfect way to introduce new elements.
drop pods are out, warp in is only a way to produce gateway units in pylon power and nydus worms arent deployable anywhere.
There is rock paper scissors in original starcraft too, the demos just show off the hardest counters of the game, like in sc1 vultures kill zealots, dragoons kill vultures, siege tanks kill dragoons etc. Every unit has a perfect counter and some units counter many. For example the terran marauder is perfect against enemy armored ground forces.

Do you mean they got rid of the drop pods?? if so.. why?

maybe because it was unbalanced, it probably made terrans to drop marines too easily in enemy bases.
or maybe it resembled the wh40k drop pod too much..
