Telling you what it's about would kinda spoil the feel of it a little. It's one of those games that manages to do the whole "oh god where am i whats going on" thing well.
I guarantee you won't beat it on your first try. It's something that has to be learned through trial and error.
Beyond that, the game has a roughly set length of time, and playing it constantly (at a reasonable amount of time a day) will take you from a week to two weeks to beat it, I estimate.
Yeah, pretty much. The plot has a set ending point, and if you haven't worked out what to do or succeeded by the time it comes around, you'll get the bad ending.
You can't, really. There's an important event to completing the game which is only presented pretty much right at the end - you can prepare for it in advance and finish the game as soon as you're done with it, but not before that.
What is the Void about?

Just think about it!

A lot of russian media seems to have very creative creature/monster designs, especially in creepy or scary genres.

About how long does this game take to beat, playing for the first time?

So it's like Pikmin, where if you don't complete the game's main goal within a time limit, you lose, in a sense?

How fast could you speedrun this game?

@LuminarNightblade: Well, couldn't you speedrun the rest of the game?
