  • Now does that guitar allow you to change the sounds? Like for example could you make it sound like an acoustic guitar and then change it into an electric? I'm still trying to understand the functions of this guitar and I'm planning on getting one.

  • You got it. That knob goes between the full electric or full acoustic sound, or you can get a blend of the 2 turning it half way. It also has a stereo out so you can send the electric sound to one amp (or PA or mixer) and the acoustic to another.

  • i love that guy on the right, i've seen him in ovation demonstrations before and he always seems so jolly =]

  • there's something about him that really does radiate the Jollyness. Even when he gets the crunch on.. it's still jolly. @_@

  • $1600,american?Hollow?bad hollow.

  • HOw much for one of these!!!!???

  • $1600.... They sound like a decent Acoustic/Electric but when they go all Electric it sounds hollow. 1600 is just silly for what you get. For a hollow sounding electric guitar you might as well wait for the Korean knock off and save yourself 1400

  • i was playing that guitar last night... and saw matt smith play it last night and he was amazing...

  • I agree with Zeppelin but is there anyone here who has ever tried that electric guitar ?

  • Matt Smith, dang brother, you can play!

  • I've not had the pleasure to play one yet! But I do think you make this a very nice presentation. I like the fact that it's an active guitar - and it looks slick 2!x Thanks for sharing!:)

  • Those are nice guitars

  • Two things, 1)make the guitar price cheaper so that we all can afford it, and most of us here are not tycoons and super stars, even super stars need our money to get on.

2)By making the price cheaper, you can avoid Fakes and pirated goods from producing.

  • yeah I want a UK II by Ovation. But I looked at this one too. It was 1500 dollars. It is not worth it.

  • sounds like johnnywonnote works for fender. yes johnny, we should all be playing VG Strats. Thanks. Is that all for your sales pitch?

  • When the vxt battery dies, the WHOLE guitar goes dead.

On the VG Strat, the battery isn't needed for the Strat tones so you can always play without batteries.

  • This guitar have to bew expirenced!

Go with two player so each can expirence the guitar.

    You will be shocked

  • My wish list... An easy to reach switch in addition to the pot for mixing the Fishman with the humbuckers to allow for 100% output of either signal path quickly and easily, and an option to have the guitar equipped with the Fishman VMV, TSV, or the VS50P Powerbridge with the tremolo.

  • If you could make it change tunings with a knob it would be worth something more. Also make it sound like a single coil guitar or a 12 string like the VG strat.

  • But only 2 hours of battery life in the VG verses 35 hours on VXT

  • I think that Line 6 guitar can do that...

the tuning thing I think, it's a maybe.

and the other bits yeah, definitely.

Single coil, humbucker, banjo, I think the acoustic version can do that indian instrument with like all the twang (ahahha, really poorly phrased)

'spretty amazing, I think the models are like £300, £500, £800 or somat like that.

  • AWESOME

  • cool!

  • This guitar is wonderful.

I'm glad it will be soon available in Europe.

    J:-)

  • Is there a 24 fret version? If their is, i'd sell all my stuff to buy one!

  • Can't wait to try one.

  • This is awesome, any plans on releasing this in Europe?

    -monom.
