The Dave Clark Five also covered this song in 1967. It was a hit. I just looked and you can find both their mono single and stereo album versions on Youtube. There is also a clip of them performing it live on TV if you don't mind the sounds of the kids screaming. Check out the DC5 version. It's well done.
