  • She just loves to torture him death to prairy!!!!!!!!!

  • Long Live Mother Nature!!!!!

  • The Cloud Backdrop Was Also Used

    For Fraggle Rock, AMFC, Etc.

  • This Is From 1992-1993

  • Poor Cookie Monster

  • Poor Prairie Dawn

  • give me cookie bitch!!!!!

  • Prairie Dawn was my favorite character when I was really little.

  • ahh what a cute and amusing pair <3 xD

  • why were they going on a hike in the first place? prarie's small bookbag barely has room for any food or cookies to satisy the cookie monster for lunch! btw i think cookie monster and prarie dawn are adorable together.

  • just checked the song. i guess that in that context, prairie stands in for ann darrow...

  • i wonder what she finds in him... there's obviously some undercurrent of tension involved:

" prairie, what do you think of cookie monster:"

"he's very easily controlled for someone his size, if you know what i mean..."

cookie monster, what's your angle of the relationship?"

" one these days me go all "cookie" on prairie. if you know what i mean..."

  • @spiderlime Well, didn't Prairie Dawn sing "I want a monster to be my friend"?

  • @madcapromanian i thought that was betty lou.

  • @kawoona: No. Prairie Dawn just LOOKED LIKE Betty Lou. The difference between the two? Prairie Dawn has a soft, falsetto voice and Betty Lou has a nasally, almost pre-Zoe kind of voice. They may look similar--or in some cases, near identical--but they are two different characters!

  • @madcapromanian: Funny you mention that banned segment, since the Cookie & Prairie dynamic was probably generated from it, never mind the admission of Fran Brill--aka "Prairie Dawn" herself--of the concept via the inside joke she and Frank Oz/Eric Jacobson have about Fran labeling Prairie's panties with the day of the week, so that should Frank/Eric forget...well...you get the drift (and Prairie does too; *snickers*).

  • @spiderlime i think they are just good friends but it would be funny to see cookie monster go all "cookie" on prarie!

  • Do they ever!

  • COOKIE MONSTER FTW!

  • thats just it, its only air, ma wana smell cookiiies!!! lol lol

  • It's funny how Prarie used herself as a human shield to protect the tree and flowers. I'm surprised Cookie monster didn't just eat right through her.

"Can't you just forget about cookie for a little while?"

"How me supposed to forget about cookies?"

    That's why god created booze.

  • Cookie doesn't eat people.

  • He did try to eat Guy Smiley once. You ever see the bakery skit?

  • Yeah, I've seen that one plenty of times. But that time he wasn't quite his natural self. He was so hungry then that he suffered from a temporary loss of mind. He wouldn't do that on a regular basis.

  • Yeah but he seemed to be in that same state of mind for this.

  • True. You'd think when he had his eye on the trees, he'd have remembered what happened the time he ate Susan and Gordon's Christmas tree.

  • Cookie had previously resisted eating a tree in the "Big Bird's Birthday" special. He knew they were good for the environment.

  • @Garrettk41: NOT every aspect of consistent continuity is followed, so that what happens in one episode is different from the next.

  • How very true. Sesame Street isn't known for consistency.

  • @Garrettk41: Yes. One thing that IS consistent is character personality. XD

  • @TherealRNO That's for sure.

  • @Garrettk41: And that makes me happy, because I generally like my characters consistent. The exception would Warner Bros. characters, who are meant to be random, naturally.

  • @TherealRNO O I C

  • @Garrettk41 MMM HMM

  • @TherealRNO Right

  • @cstoczyn: For example, Cookie may the Spokes-monster of Health, but he also has his weakness...cookies.

  • @TherealRNO I Get It

  • @Garrettk41 MMM HMM

  • @Garrettk41 I Understand

  • Oh just let him eat the flowers Prairie! It's not like they're an endagered species! Or the only ones in the whole park!

  • Somehow this reminds me of taking my BF to the park, except instead of cookies, its Bojangles Chicken Biscuits.

  • Wow...well, they are very good. If you're living in North Carolina, chances are there was a Bojangles near that park.

  • I've never heard of her, but she's too cute!

  • there gonna get it on in the woods... lol
