you might be right... it does look like the summit of makalu however next time (haha) you could turn the camera around for further evidence (I know it aint easy)
I'm not a climber, but I can tell you this is not fake. Makalu has a very small pointy summit. It is not easy for someone to just wheel around and take 360 shots up there. Give them a break, makalu is very hard summit, only the best go there.
did the sherpa lose his backpack or did he just leave t at one of the camps ???

Clip was posted for benefit of Dowa who didn't have the clip. Have good panoramas just didn't post on You Tube.
The pile of snow you refer to is recognisable when you look at other Makalu summit clips.
