  • In each account, Paul's companions represent the audience.

9:7- The reader hears, but does not see.

22:9- The men at the temple saw Paul but would not hear his words.

26:14- Festus, like all earthbound, thought Paul insane. Agrippa professed to a prayerful (fallen to the ground) attitude (verse 27), but whether he heard or saw was still undetermined (verse 28.)

Apparent Scriptural contradictions are hints of revelations the Holy Spirit will give to those who trust Him. Rebels are uneducable.

  • allah akbar

  • The reason I delete my accounts is because im busy and do not have time to get into extended debates at this moment which often happens when im on YT. so I just like to leave some response when I see someone like you attacking my faith. Anyway I wont bother you again. Bye

  • I am sorry if you think I am attacking your faith, that is not my goal, but I do have critical questions and points to raise about the Bible, and Christianity in general. Sorry if that comes off as "attacking".

    Peace

  • and also the word used for voice in acts 9 can also mean sound.

These alleged contradictions have already been addressed I suggest you read apologetics presss article on it or tectonics. I would paste them but im sure you would not appreciate me flooding your video. Just goggle When did Paul go to Jerusalem?. I have only responded to you twice there is no need to be so hostile.

  • commit such sexual acts. A commandment from the torah to kill is specific to that historical situation and is no longer applicable to Christians in general as we believe we are subject to the 2nd covenant. nor are any of the sexual acts recorded as history books commandments from god for Christians to act that way. I finished the comment but it got marked as spam. There is a difference in Greek between hearing a sound and understanding it

  • Yes there are commanded massacres in the torah but that is specific to that time. What I meant was that there is no general commandment to massacre people for all Jews to kill

nor to commit lewd sexual acts as gokilex was suggesting. And many of the things he was talking about were historical events. And what I mean is not that the OT doesnt count but that for Christians. But that Jesus words are the ultimate authority and he commanded us to love our enemies and not to

  • But in neither account is it stated that his companions ever heard that Voice in the accusative case

  • A good explanation is offered by Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties by Gleason L. Archer. In the original Greek, however, there is no real contradiction between these two statements. Greek makes a distinction between hearing a sound as a noise (in which case the verb "to hear" takes the genitive case) and hearing a voice as a thought-conveying message (in which case it takes the accusative). Therefore, as we put the two statements together, we find that Paul's companions heard the Voice as

  • This statement of yours and the one where you say I failed in "attacking" Christianity, contradict each other. First you say that there is no contradiction, due to the greek work Phones which can mean either sound or voice. But here you say that in Greek it makes distinct meaning between hearing a noise and a voice, but you didn't finish this comment, so I cannot tell what your overall point was.

  • Another one of your failed attacks on christianity.

    No contradiction here

In acts 9:7 they saw nobody but in acts 22 they saw a light.

In acts 9:7 they heard a sound but some translations say voice. The word used is not specific φωνης (phones) can mean either sound or voice

  • What I find funny is that you only focused on one aspect of this video, and didn't mention the other several contradictions that occur among these passages. Also, just like you have done before, you created a sock account and then deleted it, how interesting on your part.

  • please watch this youtube vedio St.paul in the Quran.

  • Many things in the new Testament seem to be contradictions but may in fact just be simpe translation errors. I don't believe that when Paul was writing many of his letters that He ever thought they would be called scripture?

  • tektonics already refuted this argument. What about the contradiction in the quran about what the food will be in hell? No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari S. 88:6 Y. Ali

Nor hath he any food except the foul pus from the washing of wounds, S. 69:36 Y. Ali

  • salam

If you have a video of that lecture. Please do share with us.

  • You know why christian closed their eyes when seeing ilogic, unethic, horrible porn stories, mass killing, rape etc in the bible. Infact they know those stories actually, This is because christian since early ages after the declarition of nicea in 325 AD has been so deeply tempted by syeitan which make them can' t have power to release themself.

  • Gokilex you do not know the first thing about the bible and from the sounds of it you only know what you have heard from ahmed dedat or other muslim apologists. A large part of the bible records historical events this is called the ketuvim or writings which are historical books and record such massacres and sexual acts of immoral people but these are not commands from god to behave like that just history. If you are going to judge Christianity judge it by the teachings of Jesus.

  • Yes but many Jews and Christians see these books, Historical or otherwise as inspired by God and such have scriptural authority. Also if you read the books in the Torah and elsewhere which are NOT in the Writings, you find God commanding the Children of Israel to do such massacres. You as a Christian believe in BOTH the OT and the NT, so I think it is fair to say that when discussing Christianity one should look at both parts of your scripture and not just the NT, or just the words of Jesus.

  • They will still won't believe it

  • good stuff bro, thanks.

  • salaam

yeah it would be great to see your lectures

    intresting info by the way

    May Allah bless you

    peace

  • thank you for nice video!

My Question is that is there any way that we can listen to ur lecture or to read ur articles any where or in any websites?

    thanks again!

  • The website I will be writing for is not all up yet so that is why we are not advertising it right now. I think people have footage of my lectures it just depends on if those people can give the footage to me and then have someone edit it, so I can post them on youtube. If all that can be done then I will post them for sure.

  • was your lecture associated with the muslim student association because they have one at my school

  • Yes it was I am the head of Dawah and involved with talking to non-muslims at my college.

  • Interesting stuff. I've often found a great deal of contradictions when I've compared the Gospels and Paul's letters. Paul is quite a questionable source in any case.

You should record your lectures, dude. :)

  • Why happen to AhmadQuran3? I mean ben?

  • Nothing I think...just taking a little break from refuting him.

  • You gave a lecture on the Resurrection??? Aww, man, I wish you could have seen that shabir ally article before you gave the lecture! You probably did fine, nonetheless, mashallah.

  • can u send me the link bro to that article..Salam Alikum

  • Ö_ö
