I have had this phone for over a year and to be honest i cannot wait to get rid out it. it is underdeveloped and if you use the (below average) music player and the internet (browser is actually ok) the battery is very poor.

The touchscreen is really good. if you use internet, you have to pay for it. which sucks. { its pretty expensive } thats the only thing i dont like about the phone.

another thing is , its really big so it doesnt really fit into your pocket.

It has been said that it is not possible to add your own message alert tone. It is not stated anywhere in the manual or in the phone settings. However, there is a way to do this in the profiles menu. Tap the middle of the screen, then tap the middle icon. This now takes you to the main menu screen. Tap the Settings icon on the lower r/hand corner.Tap phone profile and select edit. You will then find you can change different ringtones and message alerts and use one of your own mp3 files.

I now have my F700. The internet browser is very good with full HTML pages. The battery life is not briliant but it is only a few hours old so this will improve. However the menus are not easy to navigate around, I was using a SE P990i which was not easy but this is not much better. The camera is very sensitve to movement and you have to hold the shuuter button for about 10secs before it takes a picture. But I will get used to this and will be keeping the phone. Nice phone, shame no wifi.

I am getting this phone tomorrow. It will replace my current (broken) phone under insurance. The first girl i spoke with put the order out. When I phoned back to confirm my address the other person I spoke to said there had been a mistake because I only pay a small amount a month and am almost up on my contract. well u don't need wifi for internet, this phone is a hspda, mean it use 3g network for internet, one avantage is very fast and could be use amost anywhere as long as u got some bar. ofcus u need a mobile carrier that suply 3g, like at&t if u are in the us

Everyone stop saying every Touchscreen phone is a copy of the iPhone. The LG Prada (first touch screen phone) & the iPhone just started off this whole Touchscreen thing. There is nothing wrong with Samsung making this phone. I've had an iPhone and have an F700 and I can tell you the F700 is much much better.

People are only buying the iPhone because it's been released through Apple. Just because it's got an iPod, has touchscreen capabilities and full internet access, does not make it the best phone in the world.

For one the battery life is really stupid, the camera does not record videos and carrying it around is a very big problem because it's so big.

i am using one, its quite good. 3MP, 3G HSDPA. a bit disappointed with 1GB micro SD though. Interface is wicked, QWERTY is amazing. Couldn run Youtube on it properly though. Very satisfied with it overall.
