That is Daron. Looks like he finally learned his place. If he had accepted guitar/backup vocals in System they may still be making music today. (Although I, for one, think Serj has done WONDERFULLY on his own) But, no. Daron wanted to be lead vocal too. (See Hypnotize/Mezmerize) Maybe with his ego in check they will once again make music.

@crevans17 lol? Daron has no place that he needs to be put in. System of a Down would not have been as successful as it was without Daron and that can't be denied. The harmonies between he and Serj were what made many of their songs as fantastic as they are. Also, I don't understand why you and other people are so arrogantly absolutely positive that SOAD went on hiatus because Daron was tired of not being a lead singer. There's no reason to think that and they have both denied it completely.

Daron went on to create his own band because it was what he felt like doing, not because his 'huge' ego was tired of not being the frontman in System. Look up "The Ultimate Serj Interview" here on youtube. Watch 1:05 through 1:30. That right there is what said to me Daron's desire to sing everything is at least part of the reason of SOAD going on hiatus.

There is no denying Daron's contributions to the success of the band. But...his place in the band is guitarist and backup vocals. BTW...Going to see System May 19th!!!!! : )
