Most people hated this movie.. but thats because hitman rarely met his match in the movie. o, wait he never did. He FSU'ed the whole time, but thats why I loved it. It even seemed, he was to much on the compassionate side in my opinion. He could have been much more robotic, I still would have loved it.

In any case, I think I understand why the movie is the way it is better than you do. The addition of a romance plot is a great example. You can't make a successful movie unless it fits into certain parameters of genre.

I'm no fanboy of any movie, infact i see many problems with the movie. But simple fact being is this, Movies are directors view of Books, games ETC ETC not the actual Book or game. But if he didnt add the romance in the movie would be 2 hours of pointless explosions and shooting AKA a michael bay style movie. I for 1 am glad they added in the romance it makes him seem more human. We dont need a super bald chuck norris.

Exactly, it made him seem more human. But the fans of the game came to see a movie based on the game, and instead got something completely different. THe character presented in the movie isn't just a different view of 47, it is a completely different character who happens to be called 47. None of his basic characteristics are present in the movie. That is why you see such anger over the movie. Also the movie is poorly written and directed and the acting sucks, but thats another discussion.
