  • WSO's, Anonymous, Zeitgeist movement, now is not the time to debate amongst eachother on our differences.

NOW IS THE TIME TO FIGHT THE SYSTEM, IN THE NAME OF LIBERTY, UNITE!

  • One of the BEST songs Muse has ever made :)

  • Do a search on MK ultra.

  • ive been reading up about project MK-ULTRA andthis song is really good at illustrating some of the shit about it its so weird

  • People doing the wall street protests are fighting for everyone in taking a battle front to monetary inequality. Support them even if it is only on FB or forums. Or go join in protest. This world is disgusting. Children, women, and men are starving in this world wondering if the next day will be their last for the inability to even sustain a living. This is not right. I am 99%.

  • @TheNjorm For most of the 'lower 99%' of America, we still have a pretty damn good life, compared to most people in poorer nations, or even the bottom 10% of America. Why not go and sign up to help build low-income housing, or volunteer at your local homeless shelter? It's no harder then camping out for a week in front of city hall or wherever, and a lot more fulfilling.

  • @HeadcrabDoctor You realize its the system that is failing us. So the system itself needs to be recreated. You are right about other countries being more poor than our own but that does not justify people being poor and starving or without shelter anywhere. You try to justify inequality by saying others have it worse. It seems you have a very closed mind. I cannot volunteer to change the way our system works in a monetary based economy. It obviously would take more than myself.

  • How much deception CAN you take people? Wake up and look around. The world is a disgusting place...

  • @KeepYourMindOpen18 optimism, look at the great things of the world! great song btw :)

  • MK Ultra = Mind control programme

  • OMG as if they are part of the illuminati. :O

  • this song trully shows that matt is ´´the ruler of the riff´´ !

  • KILLUMINATI!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  • @thedanniechannel do you trully believe in them for reals?

  • Oh Okay So MUSE created the World now everything makes more sense now :D

  • MK ultra gets me fucked up

  • Wow the 304 people that thumbs-upped the top comment have access to google, I'm so impressed.

  • @3:38 = headbang moment, haha, I love this song

  • everytime my physics teacher says wavelength i start singing this in my head :)

  • I love this song. It represents the flight of humanity against oppression and tyranny. It's a beautiful song but it's also a warning. We're losing control. They're breaking through. We lose our civil liberties and innate freedoms every passing day. It's time to fight back against the deception. Technological suppression, spiritual deception, economic bondage, mental and physical slavery are the tenants of the coming order of the elite. Bellamy knows it. It's about time you know it too.

  • @DarkStarRocketShip The public lost it's control a long time ago.

  • @DarkStarRocketShip actually, it's literally about mind control. project MK-ULTRA or ( mind kontrol ultra ) was a US/Nazi/Canadian program. read up, kiddo.

  • @DarkStarRocketShip Yes, I think he really is against the NWO, while the majority of bands are, unfortunately, the elite´s puppetts.

  • We're braking frooooo

  • Thumbs up if you think its sad to know what MK ultra is

  • @diaz90ish Thumbs up if everyone looked up MK Ultra, and then gave it a thumbs up.

  • 2:16 :)

  • i'm addicted to this song!!! Please watch my drum cover of it!

    /watch?v=kWR0OyQDAUA

    thx!

  • #Radiohead

  • @con93man twat

  • That feel when you realize you've been pronouncing MK Ultra as 'ma-cul-tra' for ages.

  • @RadimirWackytov I'm pretty sure that's never happened to most of the people here...

  • @RadimirWackytov that's retarded, man.

  • 2:16-2:30 i cant describe with words how i love that riff

  • @MrCold768 I think the part after that is more mindblowing man

  • Muse knows nothing of the CIA's work.

  • i am a super solider, made by MK-ULTRA!

  • Muse is BEST! No one is better then them!!!

  • Muse is BEST! No protests!

  • I think we could all agree Absolution was the best album. :)

  • @EliteBlackTech knights of cydonia..and black holes and revelations, but also showbizz

  • This song's story is kinda "sad" when you think about it. Well, not sad... But, it's like..... I can't explain it.

  • @Poisonnachos Wow fucking genius comment, im blown away.

  • How can MUSE be part of the resistance?? against MK ULTRA if they are making songs for twilight a hollywood blockbuster??!!

  • @white0elephant By opening minds with their lyrics. That's how. These ideas are seeds planted in minds. Seeds that grow.

    They're breaking through...

  • @RedCrow1973 Exactly!. They rule.

  • @JOLLYJOEY101 i know what it is, and yes i mean the conspiracy... i seem to be involved in it myself along with my family but i am the only one in the family who knows as far as i know

  • Fuck you CIA !!!! xD

  • :D!!!!!!!!!

  • lol. how random that Muse named a song after a CIA mind control experiment =)

  • @aiiiunluckykid If you read the lyrics, it doesn't sound that random anymore, at least not to me ;)

  • @aiiiunluckykid ...That's the point.

  • @MFOTY I'm saying that some people that like Muse might actually like these types of songs and listening to people bitch about oh WOW this song sucks so freaking bad annoys them. I am just saying they do have opinions but they can bitch about these "sucky songs" to themselves or people around them. All it would get them on the internet is people ripping on them for quite awhile. I am also saying this in general to bands similar to Muse.

  • I really prefer their Rock songs like im not a big fan of Undisclosed Desires and those kind of songs but i LOVE Assassin and Exo-Politics!

  • Comment removed

  • @oneilexpress Seriously I have been a Muse since their first album came out. I heard the exact same BS when black holes and revelations came out. People were complainig that it was the shittiest album, now most people claim its their best. If you look at the Resistance album, its the most experimental and intelligent music that Muse has ever made - and that is one of the things muse is known for.

  • @jonasaskjaer The Resistance still had some bland spots, I like it but didn't get as much out of it as the other albums. I don't think BH&R is their best either but I did, and still, think it's one amazing album

  • @jonasaskjaer

Maybe it's cause the singles they released were shit and thats what causal fans base their music on.

If they released this and US people would say otherwise

  • @jonasaskjaer Two words. Exogenesis Symphony. #1 thing I love about The Resistance.

  • Ughh, this album is their worst. Excluding Uprising, it's like on every song they've just played the catchiest most clichéd chords they can find. I'm so ashamed and disappointed.

  • @oneilexpress I feel your pain, brother. As a fellow REAL Muse fan (not those fake Muse fans from The Resistance or from Twilight), The Resistance was a disappointment. But it was expected from a genius like Matt :) He was just experimenting with different types of music.

  • @AZNboi10921 dude ive been a fan from day one, but thats not to say that people who heard them in twilight arnt real fans, so they like twillight, what makes up for it is they like muse. a fan is a fan dude, the real twats are the ones who illegally download this awesomeness without money going to muse.

  • @shewdz26

This has to be one of the most intelligent comments I've read on this ongoing stupid debate. I salute you!

  • @AZNboi10921 The only pain i'm feeling right now is from the disappointment of you "REAL muse fans." It was also the first album that was written and composed entirely by himself, therefore, i agree that he's a genius. also, their music today still have have similarities that can be spotted in the classic Muse by a fellow TRUE Muse fan(not those fake "REAL Muse fans" that still critisize the awesomeness that is muse). I love Resistance just as much as i love Showbiz. MUSE FOREVER

  • @sugiebearcxw ok u cool gangsta

  • @oneilexpress people like you do my fucking head in

  • @VimtoistheShit And you do my fucking head in.

  • I'm trying to study for my anatomy class but MUSE keeps pulling me away because of their sheer awesomeness

  • this song fuckin sucks...

  • @AnthonySaadatjoo your mom sucks.

  • I hope everyone knows what this song is actually about, and if u dont....read

  • damn! just googled mk ultra and its creepy as shit. i kind of feel stupid for having this album for some time now and not knowing what it means. but i guess u learn something new everyday.

  • Thumbs up if you know what MK ultra is

  • @vicktrickly72

    a bad song

  • it is a classified military mind control project where children are captured by the government and created into what the programmer wants. Earlier tactics of reprogramming were based on trauma and torture, they would traumatize or torture the child, and their minds could not pass out because they were under the effect of a drug that prevents that (imagine being in a horrifying nightmare and not being able to wake up). They would be used for govt. agendas. Look it up. listen to the song again now

  • vicktrickly72 Please get your facts straight. MKU was commissioned in 1953 by the director of the CIA due to allegations that the Soviets, Chinese & N Koreans were using mind-control techniques on US POWs in Korea. The CIA wanted to use those methods on their own captives. MKU experimented on US & Canadian citizens (adults) who, without their knowledge, were given mind-altering substances, then subjected to various forms of abuse and interrogation. This continued well into the late 1960's.

  • What I explained was only one of the hundreds of sub-projects that were created from MK ultra, "Project Mannequin", as told by James Casbolt. Look it up, because YOU DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE STORY, which is still "being written" by the way.

Your "facts" suck, but i'm not going to put my energy into destroying your logic as I have other things to be doing.

  • @vicktrickly72 Then you should have said so in your post. It was my understanding that you were referring to the MKUltra project. BTW, those aren't my facts. They belong to history, Have a nice day,

  • @SavedandSound Well yes, your understanding was correct, what wasn't enough of the story was that history you mentioned, it is much worse than what you spoke of or know. If those facts belong to history, then I say that history is hiding something, and I have been figuring out what it is with the help of whistleblowers like James Casbolt, so I strongly encourage you to investigate further...

  • @vicktrickly72 Thank you for your comment, Victor. There was only so much I could write in the limited space allowed here. I do know there were precursors to MKUltra, and I'm not so naive to think that these practices--and worse--are still going on today. Clearly, you know more than I do on the subject; I'll take your advice and check into Casbolt. Take care! :D

  • @vicktrickly72 It was a government experiment in the late 60s, i think.

  • @vicktrickly72 mexican food?

  • @vicktrickly72 not that i don't trust you, I don't trust you

    "Lex Luthor" "Superman" Christopher Reeve

  • @kevindwyer74 Good, I would prefer it that you don't trust me, it's better for you, you go your own way.

  • @vicktrickly72 What is it, I know I love this song, but what is MK ultra??

  • @wallyreimers As far as I know, it's a classified military program that branches off into many smaller programs which involve the creation of super soldiers by kidnapping people with the dna needed for the legitimate super soldier. People usually don't realize if they're mk ultra, they could go on living their life without knowing about it. Look up duncan o'finioan, Aaron McCollum (Project Seagate), James Rink, or James Casbolt (Project mannequin) if you want to know more about it.

  • I hate it when a good song is ruined by trolls who comment against other people because of race, religion, or country. If you're going to harass someone who likes this song then you need to be punched in the face by everyone who came here to listen to this piece of art.

  • @Argentinesk8er oh yes hard-right in the mouth - peace love and a punch in the mouth of trolls

  • Do you know what is MK Ultra?! Brainwashing system made by CIA... Some say it's used still today...

  • muse fans think.

  • it is still going on, they just figured out how to put it on the TV frequencies to numb your mind. WAKE UP

  • @dvq Why do people always forget that leaders are humans like you and me, living their lives and making their mistakes? They aren't that much smarter and all those conspiracy theory's seem to forget that follow up presidents arent like their predecessors and chance are incredible small someone with such a conspiring mind makes it to president in a democratic country. Same counts for any other job or position high in the government, don't overestimate the truth. I think the real truth is dull.

  • @TheCritizen

i think you are pretty naive...

  • KILLUMINATI

  • love this song!!!

lets see if my neighbours like it!!!!

  • @plasm2 im sure the police would as well!!!!!

  • @thedanniechannel that sounds like a plan. lets do it!!

  • What a great wallpapers.....that is great with a blue background

  • It's definitely MUSE who makes me live!

  • KILLUMINATI!!

  • 33 people are hypnotized by the Government !!

  • 33 people live under a rock

  • I love this song :D

  • Lol is this song about islam? :P

  • @MF0TY lulz no its about a government affair and how they tried to use mind control

  • @MF0TY google mk ultra

  • man! this is fucking good!

  • at 1:21 u can hear M-K ULT-RAAA

  • @EliteBlackTech

i heard it. how the hell did u catch that?

  • @TrueComposure Cause the powar of Muse makes people beast. :D

  • @EliteBlackTech i dont hear it

  • @TheXclamationPoint Listen to the guitar. It's like DO DO DO DOOO. M-K ULT-RAAA

  • @EliteBlackTech do you mean this part: 1.20 Well i can hear it :D

anyway. This song is awesome. I don't understand why someones says that this is suckest song from muse. I think this is one of most powerful songs from muse. And this makes me sooooooooo feeling good.. ♥ it <3

  • @EliteBlackTech Good ear, mate.

  • The most underrated muse song of all time is Microcuts, with Space Dementia in a close second. I love Muse but this is the worst album they have. Maybe they need to not produce there own album next time. Origins of Symmetry is the best album, then Absolution, followed by Showbiz, then Black Holes and Revelations, and finally The resistance. I hope the albums don't keep getting worse. I still love Muse. Amazing live show!!

  • anyone else hearing the high frequency voices?

  • these guys just have all the wrong moves /style

  • This is about Project MKULTRA

    look it up

  • @stikrstickers Beast concept for a song.

  • @WilfordlBrimley word.

  • I was reading 1984 to this song earlier. It's amazing how well the two coincide.

  • try reading it while listening to 2+2=5 by radiohead.....it'll blow your mind.

  • @MrSoloSanchez I tried, but I'd never known "2+2=5" beforehand...I recognize the similarity in the title, but having not internalized the lyrics here, putting everything together isn't as automatic as it is here. Maybe, someday I'll know it by heart, and go to read it again with a wider soundtrack. I can imagine 1984 to "Won't get Fooled Again" by The Who, too.

  • @thewriter1008 mk ultra was some illegal CIA experiment in the 50's, where test subjects were being "dumbed down" through drug abuse, alcohol abuse, no social contact, sexual abuse and physical abuse. 1984 was written in 1949, maybe someone in the cia had a 1984 fetish.

  • @MrSoloSanchez sounds like this experiment is now taking place

  • @MrSoloSanchez That was the plan all along,Orwell just novelized it for the masses .With which intent?I don't know, but for some reason the elite likes to to in some way warn you about their plans.

  • o.o this fills like brain wash cuz mk ultra was a mind controll plan by the cia :I

  • o.o this fills like brain wash cuz mk ultra was a mind controll plan by te cia :I

  • Just wanted to let you all know, that recent snowstorm in the midwest, yeah, that was jizz from me after I heard this song for the first time.

  • Emmmmmmmmmm-kay All-tra! MUSE creates the best every time!

  • i was the 1,000th liker i feel special :p

  • i've just beaten black ops and now the lyrics make sense! thanks treyarch!

  • @BlackandBlueMage

The song isn't about Operation 40 it's about project MKULTRA, which was an illegal CIA operation that tested the subjects to see how to influence and control their minds using various drugs such as LSD and others.

It's kinda hard to study about it tbh

  • @ItIshMehXD i know it's not about operation 40. i wasnt referring to operation 40. i was referring to dragovich's experiments on mason, which has allowed me to understand the lyrics of this song.

  • immortal technique already did it. just saying

  • Not Crazy about the pyramid with the eye on top of it though.

  • If people actually listen to the lyrics of the whole album and a lot of the lyrics of earlier stuff you will realize that Matt knows whats going on in the world and trying to open some minds. MK ultra was a government experiment and the findings of which are being used everyday. Everytime you turn the tv on or listen to mainstream radio or go to the cinema. Muse have sold out their sound but upped the message contained. Research some of this and you will appreciate muse on a whole other level.

  • It sucks that the radio dosent play good music anymore =/, WTF happned to the culture only good thing that came from the U.S was the Blues and Jazz and that was initially from Africans and African americans

  • @XxRevolutionary95 rage against the machine came out the u.s and they inspired muse alot

  • MK Ultra was a goverment experiment of radiation and mind control. This is real.

  • mk ultra was actually a CIA brainwashing covert operation..... they used it in guantanamo bay but was shut down after a number of suspects were driven mad! Creepy...... :X

  • @jackwoopadup

That's not even HALF of the story. If you are really interested to know the truth about this: these mindcontrolled persons are called "monarch slaves" and there are many of them walking amongst us. Almost all of our celebrities are monarch slaves.

    Google:

    - MK-ultra monarch slaves

    - monarch slave celebrities

    - robin de ruiter monarch slaves

    - pseudo occult blog

    - the vigilant citizen

It may be creepy, but it's really important we take notice of this inconvenient truth ;)

  • @DaBBie4 true that

  • @jackwoopadup Art immitates life..."The Manchurian (sp?) Candidate" and the Jason Bourne Trilogy. Everyone needs to see both versions of "The Manchurian Candidate."

  • @jackwoopadup Creepy indeed. I do hope stuff like that isn't still going on.

  • Awesome Best song. int he world who says this sucks is an asshole plus poor taste of music

  • TO WMG and Youtube Staff:

Because what I've read in this video description, I'm placing the ENTIRE ALBUM in my Torrent server on the end of an High-Bandwith Fiber optics link....

... and will leave it there until I need the hard disk space.

This will be a new entry in a quite extensive list of albums... an every time I see a ban on copyright, I'll add to the list.

  • @TheWolverine76 The main problem with it is that now Muse won't be getting profit either every time someone gets that torrent.

  • @FretsonFireMuse

1 - The record company earns the most out of a record sale... not the artist.

2 - Just like any band, Muse earns more from their concerts.

3 - The more people ear their music, the better fan base, the better number of ticket sales in concerts.

4 - The punishment is on the CRAPPY attitude by WMG all over youtube... not MUSE.

  • @FretsonFireMuse

Quoting ARTISTS : "Piracy is the act of stealing an artist's work without any intention of paying for it. I'm not talking about Napster-type software. I'm talking about major label recording contracts"

for the record: I download music and books all the time. If I really like-it, I buy the copy.

BUT NEVER FROM Sony Music and WMG. Copycrap attitude is bigger than my fear of laws.

I rather attend the artist's concert instead :S

  • @TheWolverine76 Well attending concerts, maybe getting stuff where most profit goes to Muse, is also a good way to give them money. As long as you're supporting them in some way it's fine. I'm not fully against piracy, I'm fine with it as long as you support the band in other ways

  • @FretsonFireMuse

Correct! And thinking of it, by copying 3 cd's of Muse music to 2 friends, I managed to get 6 people that didn't know muse to come with me.

So, thinking that the ticket alone is worth like 6 time the CD, 2 pirate copies became 6, then those 6 convert into 42 original CD's value.

Now if muse earn 5% on each CD (I doubt) and considering that net profit of the concert should be around 50% (probably more) than, at minimum, I'm actually making their profit rise from 2.1 to 21.

  • @TheWolverine76 Interesting. Although if I ever do buy CD's I always try for an actual CD. Less money is taken than something like itunes

  • the song is about secret (not so now) govermental project that originated in Nazi Germany, and then continued in usa after the Nazi sienctist that were brought to America in project PaperClip, they studied the human mind and discovered that blond blue eyed people (or green eye, red hair) are easliy open to mind control

and many more ways to mind controll masses of people via flouride in water/television/frequncies/hypnosis and much more

this is some serious shit right here

  • @MagneticSeer

You are absolutely right. I'm so glad to see more and more people who are aware of this.

Thank you for having an open mind :)

    Peace

  • Thumbs up if you think this is one of the most underrated Muse songs out there

  • @iamsamrt How this is underrated? They got Grammy for Resistance!

  • You know MKULTRA were a series of mind control tests and experiments carried out by the USA? It's interesting.

  • MK Ultra warning at Arizona 1/8/11.

  • @dvq Yes, but people will ignore or deny it.

  • @GoldenRing1989
