I don't know what it is, but you could easily have electric guitars for this, but Acoustic has a sound that electric could never occupy, that's what makes them such an amazing instrument! well done chaps!

@scotcheggtrio Zomg yes someone who sees the essence of acoustic! Regardless of how you play it on an electric you could never get THIS sound...electric just lacks that bass presence that the resonance inside the acoustic provides.

If there is an acoustic version to a song I always try to listen to it and then compare the overall feel of the song to the original and often I prefer the acoustic. However there's just some things electric can do...Steve Vai "I know you're here" for example.
