  • My God....those cobbles were boring...lol...good idea though.

  • lol ah the driver has no head!

  • Thanks guys for your comments. I don't think I will finish this diorama in time for the contest, which is a shame :(

  • What sort of paint are you going to paint those cobbles with?

  • @2002And the cobbles will be sealed with PVA, then "cemented" in with filler and painted with my usual Vallejo air acrylic paints.

  • @ScaleModelMedic Ah, I see.. thanks.. :)

  • You should make a casting of the cobblestone street!

  • @tzkelley I wish I had time to do this, I could save myself a lot of heartache in the future!

  • Excellent work, the Kublewagon is looking great.

  • Superb!

  • wow.

  • I love the way your voice sounded deppressed towards the end... :(

hehe Great work as always mate. Keep it up! It will all pay off im sure.

  • Inspirational work as always.

I love how the camera tries to commit suicide :D

Good luck with the road. I'm sure it will look spectacular once it's finished.

  • lol Great vids man you have some awesome ideas

  • Looks great!!!

  • Nice update Jon. I was actually looking at foodstuffs for my build. I reckon there is a lot that can be done with dried spaghetti.

  • I cant wait to see it man good work

  • Nice work as always good luck with the lentils I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Thank you .

  • pretty good

  • WOW....never come across you before, and can I just say, your work is amazing, if I can evermake my Railway Models to half as good of your standard, I would be very happy indeed :)

  • Fantastic stuff here. Really nice work. Good luck with the rest of those cobbles!

  • fantastic work

  • che bella ,complimenti

  • Great video :) really looking forward to see the finished diorama. good luck in the competition :)))

  • Oh Man! I did a cobblestone road once with barley......turned out really good but I'll never do it again, way too boring.

    Nice work as always.

  • that lentil idea is brilliant!

  • Really great idea with the use of lentils for cobblestone. I always enjoy seeing the new ideas from you.

  • Glue, patience, and a steady hand....well, at least I have some glue :D Great vid and both projects are really looking great, best of luck in the competition..Jim.

  • Nice work on those cobbles!!

  • Useful video !! , Thanks for share your tips and techniques , a pleasure to follow .

  • I realy rate your work "ScaleModelMedic". Just wish I had your patiance mate...

  • Great vid bud! "The camera was trying to kill itself". I love it.

  • Fantastic vids. :) Curious, why not use styrene embossed with cobblestone instead of the lentils? Joins for the corners too hard to hide perhaps?

  • good work with the lentils, did a similar thing using rubber pellets for use as (a few hundred) spent shell casings a while back i nearly lost the will to live after a few days

  • Brilliant use for lentles, far better than cooking with the ghastly things. Very nece progress on the kublewagon and Greyhound.

  • dude way to much time on ya hands lol seriously though bud excellent wrk.

why dont u green stuff press the road you have made so far then just pore some resin into it ...little expensive but save you loads of time

  • Fantastic, always happy to see one of your vids in my sub box! But out of curiosity with using lentils would the individual stones look too similar to one another? It may just be the camera that makes them look so similar.

  • lol this vid really made me laugh - good work - I always watch your new vids and the hints and tips are really useful. Rev

  • Looking GREAT, my friend!

I feel sorry for you after seeing how much more pebbles you need to stick down.

Its going to worth it though Im sure.

  • Wear on the paint from the inside of the M8 will be where cloth rubbing against it would keep it shiny. I've seen this on Humvees with the flat paints having been polished glossy by the bags we had to carry around and from the people getting in and out of the doors.

  • Oh my god mate, I have no idea how you find the patience to cut bricks and lentils. Going for sainthood? LOL

The models look awesome. Best wishes on the contest. I will be using some techniques on my entry that I learnt here on your channel. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us.

    Cheers!

  • You're doing a great job, and that will paint up really nice once you're done with it.

    It'll be worth it :)
