the xbox didnt copy wii the xbox is motion sensored nd it detects your body motion instead of detection for the controller you dont need a control for it but in the wii you do
i like all systems, i have the ps3, xbox, wii and i play them all a lot. They all have something better than eachother and theyre all different. But with the motion control, i have to admit the kinect is the best out of all because theres no controllers required and you play with every part of your body, not just your arms. But just let fanboys hate and make themselves look stupid when something does better than what they like.

Wii = Modified Gamecube, in terms of power, so really the sticker price of the wii should have been alot less expensive. So really the wii was more of a rip off then most of you will believe. Where as sony/microsoft actually made some REAL hardware upgrades. You can only take the WII so far and at this point it's about at it's limit, where as Ps3 and xbox you can still take further. I don't think the ps3 has been officially used to it's limit.
And ofcourse, why wouldn't anyone hate on nintendo, since the gamecube even they've been making nothing but garbage games and consoles. And you're trying to convince people that an over sized gamegear is gonna be any good? do you own a 3DS? @Lightningstrike1220 Skyward Sword was the worst Zelda game i played 2 hours of and will never get that time back. Brawl was good, Fire Emblem was not great for wii. I'm saying for how much of an upgrade it had It still did not explain the original 300$ price tag. Considering at that point I could get a use gamecube for 60 dollars. (gamecube had a better selection of games) The wii was okay by itself if you did not compare it to other systems.
@SinHarvester Don't get me wrong, I'm not against nintendo, just against the direction they have been taking lately. I would have loved a motion censor controlled game (not kinect) that was backed by a really good piece of hardware. (Ps3 move was great) But even playing the wii after a while the aesthetics wear off... Basically the limitations of power in the machine really kill the gaming experience. But compared to other systems it still lacks a good library of games.

I guess I'm just one of those Zelda and Mario fans who are satisfied with those simple games. lol. Slightly better GPU and motion sensor and that's where it ends. the Ps3 actually had some real hardware. It was also the cheapest blu-ray player on the market. for a number of years. So even if the ps3 was 600 dollars, Doesn't anyone remember this? And it's now a 300$ Console and Blu-ray.

@SinHarvester Stop making walls of text first of all.Those statistics you put up there are still different but they may look extremely close to each others but the gameplay is much more different than the gamecube smart guy. The wii is also capable of playing gamecube and wii games, meaning you are right. However there are great games for the wii and that includes skyward sword, Brawl, Mario kart, Twilight princess, Fire emblem and so forth.

i like all systems, i have the ps3, xbox, wii and i play them all a lot. They all have something better than eachother and theyre all different. But with the motion control, i have to admit the kinect is the best out of all because theres no controllers required and you play with every part of your body, not just your arms. Wii = Modified Gamecube, in terms of power, so really the sticker price of the wii should have been alot less expensive. So really the wii was more of a rip off then most of you will believe. Where as sony/microsoft actually made some REAL hardware upgrades. You can only take the WII so far and at this point it's about at it's limit, where as Ps3 and xbox you can still take further. I don't think the ps3 has been officially used to it's limit.

@Lightningstrike1220 Skyward Sword was the worst Zelda game i played 2 hours of and will never get that time back. Brawl was good, Fire Emblem was not great for wii. I'm saying for how much of an upgrade it had It still did not explain the original 300$ price tag. Considering at that point I could get a use gamecube for 60 dollars. (gamecube had a better selection of games) The wii was okay by itself if you did not compare it to other systems.

@SinHarvester Don't get me wrong, I'm not against nintendo, just against the direction they have been taking lately. I would have loved a motion censor controlled game (not kinect) that was backed by a really good piece of hardware. (Ps3 move was great) But even playing the wii after a while the aesthetics wear off... Basically the limitations of power in the machine really kill the gaming experience. But compared to other systems it still lacks a good library of games.

Slightly better GPU and motion sensor and that's where it ends. the Ps3 actually had some real hardware. It was also the cheapest blu-ray player on the market. for a number of years. So even if the ps3 was 600 dollars, Doesn't anyone remember this? And it's now a 300$ Console and Blu-ray.

The wii is also capable of playing gamecube and wii games, meaning you are right. I'm also curious why you stated that the price Sony had ($500-600) was absurd. You yourself stated that people were both willing to pay that and more at launch.
The US dollar has inflated by 11.6% from 2006 to 2011. The global inflation rate was 11.16%.

As if being 50% stronger than the most powerful console we've ever seen wasn't a big deal...Dude, the graphics are going to be the last thing you notice when you play the Wii-U. The new controller and system capabilities are going to be amazing. There are no prices released for the Wii-U yet, but it will probably be revealed at E3.

@TheLegendofSuper Did you look up the specs for the Wii-U. If those are true it does not consttute a 600$ Price. Calling the PS3 inferior hardware is igno rant. It was the first bluray player on the market that didn't cost an arm and a leg. So a gaming console and a bluray player. THAT to be constituted the original 600$ price and it will still probably kick the shit out of the wii-u. (hardware wise) Also consider this as a bad time to make a mediocre game system.
