Saw this in the end of some anime in Animax and in the end of Terminator 3 (the credits were shortened) in some Indonesian TV Channel. Sometimes the logo cut to black instead of fading to black.
I have to admit I'm not keen on this one - luckily the regular Sony Pictures Television logo remains on UK broadcasts of shows SPT makes with CBS when the latter has distribution rights (so it's on "The King of Queens" and "Rules of Engagement" but not "Joan of Arcadia").
Sad anorak that I am...yet with a tendency for the extravagnt/flamboyant...I **much** prefer this logo to the short, terse version seen on U.S. telly....
Maybe Sony U.S. might consider putting this at the end of future Sony/Columbia/Screen Gems broadcasts not yet seen on telly (i.e. "Dennis The Menace", "The Monkees", etc.).
Yes! The International SPT Logo is a narrow version just like the 2005 SPT Logo. It also knows that SPTI Was Like the International Columbia TriStar Television Logo that it was the Distribution Of it.
sounds like satan.

@1986Sheri Can't you just watch Wikipedia?
Animax is a TV Channel that premieres Animes. It belongs to Sony so maybe this logo premiered.

I think I saw it too. It was seen at the ending credits of "Diff'rent Strokes"
It was also seen on Telemundo's "Dona Barbara"

Alias, this vignette from Sony Pictures Television Intenational has the same syncronism from the 1965-73 Screen Gems' "S fom Hell".

The theme goes better with the short version of the regular SPT logo.

I like this version, the sound effect is very 80s. First saw it tagged on a showing of the TV movie 'Convicted' on Encore in 05.
