OMG This software is so underdeveloped, its not even funny.

Its a great program and it has outstanding potential, but when I work with it, I feel like punching old ladies on the street.

The publishing options are so limited that this software is almost useless!!

This program has incredible trouble with files over 2gb (pretty much anything you'll ever use it for will require at least 10-20gigs)

Most of the work for my videos has to be done manually in Premiere because of Inventor Publisher T.T

Why doesn't Autdesk release versions us "mere mortals" can afford? If I want to learn to use this software, I have to become a student somewhere or hit the lottery.

Autodesk should release versions where you can't save the drawings and sell it for a couple hundred bucks.  Autodesk would be smart to make their software more affordable for people who want to learn this stuff.

@YesYou123333 check out Project Twitch from Autodesk if you are in the US or Canada. Google Project Twitch and visit the Autodesk LABS. There you can run a trial version of Inventor without installing it on your computer so that you can learn it as you mentioned above. I'd post a link but you can't post links in these comments.

After spending about an hour with the free trial this video was actually a really nice tutorial on how to use the software. It is a very nice tool for creating and maintaining documentation. I would love to see a tutorial on getting the output documents to look a little nicer (sometimes labels are hard to read, or things overlap each other. Thanks!

@happygamestvfun1 i understand your pain. i prefer solidworks and the way it allows you to handle functions and draw what you need. but i must tell you i switched over to inventor due to to its ability to connect with revit architecture and tight integration with alias design.
