Lake Champlain Winter Swimming

A few questions.... Where on Lake Champlain is this? I'm familiar with Willsboro, NY.... How on Earth is this for health reasons?....You seem to be alone much of the time. Shouldn't someone be there watching? People should never swim alone, especially in the winter!! Be safe.

it doesn't look like the cold water bothers you that much... do you like winterswimming for health reasons, to build tolerance/endurance or just for fun?

It bothers me plenty, actually, and it's mostly for health reasons.

@kraftwerk05 What kind of health reasons? I do winter swimming every once in awhile, but if there's actually a benefit to it (other than just looking like a badass), I'd love to have incentive to do it more often.
