just download "PSXFin" (by far the best, will run this flawlessly unlike most PSX Emu) and get an ISO or have a friend make an ISO image of the game, if you have trouble obtaining a disc... it's worth it by far, it's a timeless classic. :) enjoy!

Its for the original Play Station I think. So unless you're willing to buy a antic game consoul for a game that is so awsome in my oppinion, I'd say go for it!

I've never played the three playstation final fantasy titles, but ive downloaded them for psp. Which is the best? Obviously seven seems to be generally the most poplar by consensus, but I've heard this one is the strongest of the three. What order would you suggest I play them in?

Personally, IX is my favorite out of the entire series, hands down. I could never bring myself to finish VII. I'd advise you not to play IX before the others if you plan to play all three. The graphics are just enough better, it could be off putting to go back.

VII never grabbed my attention. It's not bad by any means, but it just doesn't measure up to IV, VI and IX (probably my 3 favorites in the series)... And that said, I absolutely Final Fantasy IX. I've not played VIII, though.
