you have a great style and all of your paintings are fun to look at. Colourful and wonderful expression. Love the way how you captured an created. Well done!
Art. it has no beginning. Each existance destined. Art. it has an end, when completed. Art. has purpose. Art calls. Demanding attention, a reaction. Art awakens sleeping anger, hurt, and fear. Art reveals confusion and questions that need to be unwound. Art. It affects our very breath. A gasping shock. A burst of laughter. Or it takes our breath away. Leaving us emotionally naked ....as we stand in awe. (Your video has been inspiring).
pleaase come to my channel and check out my painting's, also tell me what you think, there's no such thing as bad critisism only constructive critisism :)
i wasn't interested in Abstract art at first but i came to veiw it because i did not understand what it means and i had to do an Abstract art for my art examinations.
thanks for the video as it made me realised so much about Abstract art, it helped me alot!
at first it look like nothing to me, but after somtime, i think my brain is starting to "work" and i think i uderstand it.
you would be surpirsed that i am only 13years old and i am a singaporean=]
I am right handed but I am forced to use both hands when I paint, because I paint on the floor and mix right on to the canvas. While pouring paint with one hand the other has the palette knife.
My reason for asking was not to see which hand you use, but to ascertain which brain hemisphere was dominant. In my experience, when right-handed painters do abstracts, they are comprised of straight lines or polygons. Likewise, when left-handed painters do abstracts, they are comprised of free-formed, jagged lines that exist in more dimensions than do abstracts by righties. You confirmed the pattern, by the way.
My work ranges from 30x40inches to most recently them being as big as 8 feet tall in the majority. If you visit my site some have pics of people in front of them in order to get a sense of scale.
" I don't think about how a painting should look painting before starting "
Very true, and effective in your case. I try to develop my paintings the same way, but sometimes start with an idea in mind. 00:56 reminds me of Monet's waterlillies in a beautifuly abstract way. Was this intentional?
Check out my painting (video) I hope you enjoy it.
Very very cool stuff. I like the fact that you are not afraid to be abstract. Many painters will flirt with abstraction but must achor their paintings in some type of reality.
Check out my stuff, I think you will find some similarities.
I like your work. I think it is so important for the senses to be more than a little rocked, maybe even jarred a bit by paint that speaks volumes...absolute volumes.

I like your work you have a great expression of bringing out the colors in a not so bold method.

There is a child-like quality to some of your paintings, very difficult to achieve as we tend to overwork more often than not.
Respect.

Thre is nothing to "understand" in abstract art. Dont be fooled by theory. Dont be so naive.
It is only feelings.
Trust me, I am an abstract painter.

Awsome work! in general what size are most of your paintings? I would love to see them in their original size!
I like how you use gravity allowing the paint to drip very effective.
