It all seems pretty clear to me, the founders would rather be dead than kept alive without liberty. If they had to chose the most important right, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have chose life as Romney does.
We can be quite happy in fact that we didn't have people like Romney leading the revolution in 1776 because surely he would not have risked his right to life for the right to liberty resulting in no United States of America.
You are unpatriotic and unAmerican. You should be ashamed of going against the founding fathers and voting fro someone with such views. GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH - Ron Paul

The only difference between them so far is that Mitt is better spoken and wears sacred undies that he got by taking out blood oaths in his mormon temple endowments.
Mitt is a con-artist, just like Joseph Smith, the founder of the church Mitt belongs to.
- Romney has stated many times that he wants to bring his RomneyCare from Mass. health care plan to the nation.
The latest from Massachusetts under RomneyCare:
"Enrollment in the state's new subsidized health plan is growing so quickly that the state could face a funding gap as large as $147 million by the end of the fiscal year, according to a state projection."
Romney denied knowledge of the stem cell investments in his stock portfolio, practice that is in opposition with his conversion as an anti-abortion candidate.
Romney, who holds assets worth between $190 million to 250 million also invests in casino operators, AN OIL COMPANY THAT DOES BUSINESS WITH IRAN, and a firm with cash linked to the genocidal Sudanese government.
This is absurd. Have you ever bought a mutual fund? When you bought it did you ensure that every dollar invested in it went to a politically correct use? And did you further ensure that every stock bought by that fund manager was first approved by yourself and the Boston Herald as being completely PC? It's impossible to keep all of your money completely clean when it's spread out like that and I can't speak from experience, but having millions would just make it harder. Get a life.
shitt romney hired illegal aliens to work on his state. he is the biggest liar and weasel. he will do NOTHING to stop illegals. his state had sanctuary cities and he didn't do a damn thing to stop illegals. he will say anything to get elected.
vote ron paul instead. don't let the media decide.
Allowing "...all worthy male members of the Church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard for race or color" (June 9, 1978 press release to the Deseret News) is not an apology.
Mormon scripture backed by 150 years of vicious hate, dehumanizing, toxic statements made by LDS presidents, "profits" and other church leaders CAN NOT BE WITHDRAWN by an over-simplified (as above quoted) statement. Furthermore, the LDS does not show any apologetic attitude or remorse
Romney, the man, is running for president, not the LDS Church. Last I checked this is a free country allowing equal opportunities to all without regard to race or creed. Maybe you should take your repressive ideas elsewhere and let us true Americans enjoy the freedom of religion envisioned by our founding fathers.
What he does in office will reflect a big negative on LDS people. Remember he is representing them. Do you think everyone will forget what church he belongs to when he crashes and burns?
He may get by with lies in Utah, buy not the USA. So if he makes it get ready for church blame.
Mitt Romney is by far the most intelligent man or woman in this election cycle...We need the rest of you clowns to stop drinking the Kerry, Kennedy & Klinton KoolAid and listen to guys like Mitt Romney...ROMNEY 08!!!!
JOKAMAJA, I am sick and tired of the Republicans and their lies. when Clinton lied, nobody died. The GOP lies got us into war - where are the WMD ? Romney will drag us into a war with Iran, and maybe even civil II as he wants people of color and illegals out of the US.
Former Bay State Gov. Mitt Romney, who has cast himself as a Washington outsider and blasted his opponents' ties to lobbyists, has more than a dozen federally registered lobbyists raising money for him and several others advising his campaign, records show.
Mitt Romney was once asked why he supports the war so much when not one of his five sons are serving. His answer? "Oh they are doing ver important things, like helping me with my campaign." what a jerk.
Only one candidate will bring MEANINGFUL change to our destructive foreign policy, will bring all our troops home to protect our own borders, and will see that NO MORE young Americans, or their families, suffer from undeclared wars and that candidate is RON PAUL. YouTube "Ron Paul Town Hall" and listen to the candidate Fox News doesn't want you to hear.
Romney knows nothing of being an American, never had school loans to pay off, never had a mortgage. His family financially set for the next 20 generations. He'll dig us in deeper, while he gets richer. Time for real change in the White House
"At the time of the 2006 debate of the Senate amnesty bill, McCain told a rally that illegal aliens have "grasped the lowest rung of our ladder. They want to rise, and we should let them. Let them come out of the shadows..."
Do they look like they're in the shadows?
I see them everywhere we go and we're not even in the southwest.
A well-publicized weekend photo-op for Mitt Romney turns out to have been missing a piece of information that might have undermined its credibility: the unemployed single mom at the center of the event was the mother of a Romney staffer.[Politico 1/14/08]
THE SPAMMER IS HERE! THERE!! EVERYWHERE!!! I love it. You know, there's a distinctive pattern to your spamming too, do you only get paid if you write it in a certain way? Do they actually give the text, in 500 words or less, to SPAM all over the place? Or, do you just volunteer to do this, out of the *LOVE* in your own heart?
I love you Vericifier and I love this video. People, Marcus Janson is right. We cannot afford to waste votes. Call people you know in Michigan and SC and beg and plead if you have to. We can not have this guy get anything higher than last place on Tuesday.
In this world I have never said I hate someone, but I am getting pretty close. Enough is enough we have to vote for anyone but Romney. BIG business is pumping money into Romney for their gain and Americas loss.
I agree, Romney is the pits. "Agnostics are problematic",telling Huckabee he shouldn't criticize George Bush, smearing Ron Paul, endorsing psychopath Ann Coulter, cheerleading for more blood.
Romney's advisor is the Vice Chairman of Killermachine "Blackwater USA" Mr.COFER BLACK! Bet you didn't know that! People do your homework! We can not afford to waste votes!
Romey did)Site Hezbollah's welfare programs in South Lebanon as a model for U.S. aid to poor nations — what we should do to promote "freedom".
So it is really horrifying to think that a man of Mr. Romney's intelligence would make this a serious diplomatic mistake of citing a radical terrorist group as a model for U.S. policy. This is where being a techno-guy, without any real foreign policy experience, (or ear) begins to matter. [National Review 8/3/07]
On all key labor market measures, the state not only lagged behind the country as a whole, but often ranked at or near the bottom of the state distribution. Formal payroll employment in the state in 2006 was still 16,000 or 0.5 percent below its average level in 2002, the year immediately prior to the start of the Romney administration.
The National review also has an informative article on how Willard initiated same sex marriage in MA.
"The Missing Governor" by Hadley Arkes explains how Willard made the decision to issue same sex licenses without court order, legislative approval, or class action suit.
"More than the other primary candidates, Romney has President Bush's virtues and avoids his flaws. His moral positions, and his instincts on taxes and foreign policy, are the same. But he is less inclined to federal activism, less tolerant of overspending, better able to defend conservative positions in debate.... A winning combination, by our lights. In this most fluid and unpredictable Republican field, we vote for Mitt Romney." N.R. Dec 10, 07

A full-time governor who is deeply committed to the economic well-being of a state's workers can, however, make some difference. The state unfortunately did not receive such leadership (from Romney) over most of the past four years.
"More than the other primary candidates, Romney has President Bush's virtues and avoids his flaws. His moral positions, and his instincts on taxes and foreign policy, are the same. Despite his recent opposition to sanctuary cities, as Governor, Mitt Romney recommended over $324 million in state aid to Massachusetts sanctuary cities Cambridge, Orleans and Somerville.
It was only the latest in a string of demonstrably false claims -- he'd been a hunter "pretty much" all his life, he'd had the NRA's endorsement, he marched with Martin Luther King, Jr. -- that call into question the veracity of his justifications for switching sides on immigration, abortion, taxes and his affection for Ronald Reagan.
In this primary, the more Mitt Romney speaks, the less believable he becomes.
Despite the governor's pledge of no new taxes, his proposal does increase some taxes and fees: The administration says it can collect an additional $70 million by "closing loopholes" in corporate and sales tax rules (Scott Greenberger, "Massachusetts Governor Sets $22.98 Billion Budget Blueprint", Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News, 1/29/2004)
If Romney wins the nomination it will guaranty a Democrat goes to the White House. With all the money he has spent he should be way out in front, and his immigration policy is a joke.
In a widely expected move, the Democratic National Committee voted this morning to strip Michigan of all its 156 delegates to the national nominating convention next year... How convenient. Where is Mitt from again? OH yeah, that's right - Michigan.
As one that is concerned about our economy and where it could be headed, Romney is most definitely my candidate. Everyone talks about change, but he's the one that knows how and will do it, especially as far as our economy goes.
Romney is a CHEAT. He doesn't believe in one voice one vote. He has CHEATED in two straw polls. His campaign bussed supporters into the Iowa straw poll this summer, and in November two dozen of his supporters cast over 800 ballots purchased by the Romney campaign at the Pinellas County Florida straw poll before the CNN/YouTube debate. I was there for that one and saw it personally. He's a cheat.
what ideas of Ron Pauls make you think he is worth 6th place? Is this an order of competence or an order of who has the most corporation funding? I mean no disrespect I would just like to know what policies make Ron Paul the least competent?
For starters, if Ron Paul won the nomination I believe it would just send a democrat straight into office. Frankly, I think everyone except Romney and Guiliani would have the same effect.
I aggree completely. Romney and Guilliani are the most PRESENTABLE canidates but is that then what your saying? Is that a list of the most likely canidates to win because I dont see competence and popularity to be connected.
I think Romney is a good guy and the most presidential. McCain is too old, he had his chance 8 years ago. Huckabee is a good guy too, but i don't think he'd make a good president, a good neighbor maybe. Ron Paul has a lot of good views, but has no chance at the white house. Thompson is a strong individual, he just seems so cold. GO MITT!
This man is very integral. Some of the comments below are why this country is falling apart. We need good men like Mitt Romney in office. People are still trying to witch hunt like they did in the dark ages. They are still trying to kill Christians and that's why we Christians must vote together for good men. Vote Mitt Romney and we will see great changes in the country.
MA GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY for PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA 2008
True Leadership in Biz, Org, Gov
Real Experience in Biz, Org, Gov
Change Americans can Measure and Count!!!
MITT is the MAN, the HERO, the FATHER, the Next PRESIDENT. We need a self made man to be our Commander-in-Chief. Stong New Leadership for securing and protecting the border with the MIGHTY MILITARY.
Im sorry. Its just really hard to listen to Romneys views. Its just hard to get past the slimey, used car salesman, slick , gameshow host exterior. This man has zero chance in the South. Biggest phony up there. very transparent
Very very said. He also has no chance in the North East part of the country. He thinks he can just throw money around and buy his way into the White House. How anyone at all could support this phony is beyond me.
hes such a liar, flip flopper, an all around asshole u want him to be president? he wont bring change are u kidding me?! VOTE RON PAUL!!! just listen to some of the things he says he actually speaks the truth Ron Paul is straight foward his peers hate it, but he wont back down Ron Paul has the cleanest record out there hes delivered thousands of babies, been married to the same woman for 50 years, NEVER voted for the war OR the patriot act.
Mormons have a history of hating gays. For survival, they say it is untrue but behind the closed doors of their golden temples, they believe that black people are the offspring of demons who mated with the first humans. This is the truth.
Ron Paul is our only hope, he is the only presidential candidate who speaks the honest truth.. If 70% of Americans feel that having a war surge in Iraq is unreasonable, people NEED to choose wisely on who will run this country as it should be.. AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!!
In fact, there has been a terrible HOLOCAUST underway in the Mormon faith to purge from their homes and from their pysche any mention of homosexuality.
They deny the existence of homosexuality and refuse to accept concrete science which clearly disproves the notion that being gay is a disease or a disorder.
If looked at historically, one can see how the Mormon faith has fundamentally changed due to the pressures of the times.
Although certain things were supposedly divine messages from the creator(s), the prophet of the Mormons have been able to repeal many controversial Mormon beliefs.
However, Mormons choose to continue persecuting and discriminating against gay people.
Gov. Mitt Romney, while angrily decrying Big Dig mismanagement, long ago washed his hands of the project's oversight, despite a federal agreement that gave his administration the power to annually ensure the tunnels were properly maintained
Federal records obtained by the Herald show that Big Dig bosses, working in coordination with Romney's MassHighway Department, have been required yearly to verify proper maintenance of the Interstate 90 Seaport connector where a collapse killed a woman.
reveals a weak comparative economic performance of the state over the Romney years, one of the worst in the country.
On all key labor market measures, the state not only lagged behind the country as a whole, but often ranked at or near the bottom of the state distribution.[Boston Globe 7/29/07]

Resorting to name calling isn't the way to get your point across. Why don't you grow up?
FYI: I can't stand Romney, but I think it's ridiculous that he is being attacked because he belongs to a certain church. That's not political discussion, that's bigotry. Oh and to help you on your quest for the truth: Try typing in "snake handlers" and "holy rollers" in the google search bar. You might learn something new about real CHRISTIAN sects.
Sure, these are hypersensitive times, when name-calling or perceived bias against any group will get you the Don Imus treatment, but you get a free shot with Mormons. You can say what you want about them with impunity.
Mitt is man of vision, a good businessman, a good husband and a good father. He doesn't drink nor smoke, doesn't swear or use vulgar language, very intelligent, well educated, well manered, he's got both the Christian and American values, and most of all HE IS A true LAtter day Saint. Go MITT

- Romney has stated many times that he wants to bring his RomneyCare from Mass. health care plan to the nation.

Get a life.

Check out the following Frontline video on the HOLOCAUST of gay people in the Mormon faith.
youtube(dot)com/watch?v=HN8HipjYESY
TheReporterOfTruth 4 years ago
Mormons have perpetuated and maintained a culture of harsh discrimination against people who are gay and lesbian.
This kind of institutionalized discrimination welcomed and endorsed by Mormons can in no way find its way into the Oval Office.
The Office of the Presidency should reflect liberty and equality for all people....not simply for the people who the Mormon faith regard as worthy.
TheReporterOfTruth 4 years ago
What does that have to do with the video?
rumseyc 4 years ago
In fact, there has been a terrible HOLOCAUST underway in the Mormon faith to purge from their homes and from their pysche any mention of homosexuality.
They deny the existence of homosexuality and refuse to accept concrete science which clearly disproves the notion that being gay is a disease or a disorder.
TheReporterOfTruth 4 years ago
If looked at historically, one can see how the Mormon faith has fundamentally changed due to the pressures of the times.
Although certain things were supposedly divine messages from the creator(s), the prophet of the Mormons have been able to repeal many controversial Mormon beliefs.
However, Mormons choose to continue persecuting and discriminating against gay people.

MITT is awesome and a DANGER to the WASHINGTON insiders like MAC. He is their biggest threat and he is the CHANGE that needs to happen in D.C. I can't wait for MITT to get his hands on WASHINGTON.

Willard on immigration:
2005- Didn't think illegal immigrants should be rounded up and deported
2006- Agreed with John McCain's proposals, agreed it wasn't amnesty. Caught having illegals tend his lawn
2007- Suddenly takes "anti-immigration" stance.Except in FL. Caught second time with illegals doing his lawn

Mitt Romney on his father marching with MLK:
2007- saw him march with him
1978- Willard Romney stated he also marched with MLK
2088- Meanst he saw it "figuratively, while relying on unconfirmed sources.
