Uhm...maybe it had something to do with a Japanese sitting as a judge at the ICJ? So Korea wanting a neutral setting suggested third party arbitration, with the US as the arbiter, WHY DID JAPAN REFUSE? As you know decision made in arbitration is LEGALLY BINDING on both parties while decisions made and the ICJ IS NOT.
@NATO7151 because DokDo has been korean island for centuries, there's even a song about it, that is why 99% of koreans will not even debate about this, it's like you are saying New York is land of England. And that is why people should let this subject to rest, it's Korean island.

정부가 정권을 유지 하기 위해서 국외에 적을 만드는 것은 자주 있는 수단이다.
일본은 타케시마(독도) 문제를 해결하기 위해 국제사법재판소에 부탁 하는 것을 1952년에 한국에 제안 했다.
그러나, 한국은 50년 이상 계속 거부하고 있다.
왜냐하면, 정권을 유지 하기 위해서는 일본이라고 하는 적이 필요하고, 타케시마는 그 심볼이기 때문이다.
한국민이야, 정부에 이용되어 미워하는 필요가 없는 나라를 미워하고 있는 것에 빨리 눈치채라.

독도는 처음부터 영원히 한국영토이기때문에 구지 재판소까지 가서 판결하지 않아도 됩니다.
일본이 아무리 우겨도 독도는 한국영토이기 때문이죠.
그렇게 재판소를 좋아하면 러시아와 중국이랑 가십시요.
