This is dreadful i understand this was posted about a year ago but what the hell what are u guys doing to yourselfs? i race online all the time and i hardly have experiences these bad i just wish i had a capture card i wanna post up our online races so people can see its not all just bashing and cuttin forza is still plenty of fun with loads of good drivers out there my GT is SMX M0roc0top0 legend 35 :) send me a request and we'll race team tryouts are open cheers and see u guys out there.

@ilikebumfluff just because they call it that doesnt make it so, like i said gt5 has some better aspects, but iracing is a racing simulator, not a game, i wouldn't trade iracings physics for GT5's with weather and a pit crew, that's just fluff...iracing is what I want, and it has hands down the best physics, even if gt5 has some better features

goto nascar(dot)com and hover your mouse over "Series" and look at what you see, think something like that is ever going to happen for GT5?

like the massive amount of cars and laid back casual play...however it's down to what you prefer, gt5 is a game for fun, iracing is a racing simulation, it wouldn't be farfetched to say 1/4 of iracers are involved in some real form of racing and that over 3/4 of the players actively watch/follow some real life racing series..

gt5 on the other hand, the average player might just be a car enthusiast or something like that...both have advantages, but iracing is a racing simulation, and gt5 isnt

i meant sanctioned league racing, like a group of people you race with to keep track of championship points and things like this.

and yes i am an iracing fanboy, but i also play other games, it's through this that i decide iracing is the best.

i dont just say gt5 isn't as good because i like iracing, i say it because i've played it and experienced the things it's lacking that iRacing has, however iracing is also lacking things gt5 has

haha i agree, i wont deny that i'm an iracing fanboy, but i know how extreme of a game iracing is, it's not for everyone, in fact it's not even for the majority of people that want to play a car/racing game...its an extreme niche that only a few people are in to...it is missing a lot of things, like graphics, number of cars, features, etc...but for pure physics and quality racing experience (as in other drivers can race and follow a code), I will argue it's the best ;)

i've heard, no actually i've experienced that gt5 doesn't have sanctioned leage style races, penalties for malicious behavior or 50% as realistic physics as iRacing does.

iRacing can charge what it wants because it has no competition (until rFactor 2).

I hope GT5 is amazingly successful, because it wont steal any iRacing players, and it will bring new players to Sim Racing that might search for something more realistic and find out about iRacing.

Thank you for posting this Jack - awesome proof that Turn 10's Forza Motorsport 3 is a horrible, horrible multiplayer experience. Cutting the track like slow retard in S5, deliberately taking out people and end race timer which doesn't allow drivers like you to finish the race...

@ax1911 Yeah, I agree with what your saying. Pretty much all the races I've done have had people shunting me on corners, taking me out of the race. Cutting corners is also a big problem.

Are you retarded all games that have circuit have cutable corners. All games have dominant cars and all games have online douche bags. Oh and all games need a timer so those who actually are racing don't get screwed!

@ax1911 what are they supposed to do if its set so you cant touch eachother the realism is gone and passing people would be too easy. if the race timer was set too long people would bitch it was taking too long between races they set no race timer douches would just wait out the race till everybody left so that they can get 1st place.this is a community problem not a game problem .people go out of their way to complain but no one goes out of their way to contact turn 10 and tell them whats wrong
