@PHOTOIK Sorry for the late reaction am/been working on the other experiments. Yes it is. Though the one Leedskalnin used was wired with steel and spaced out more. This only is to show the "no-loss" property of the construction he is talking about in his book. The reversing of the currents gave me confirmation of his train of thought (as far as i interpret them) and I thought I should share the pearl. Hope it is helpful.
I've no real background in magnetism but, your experiment intrigues me. However, this mystery has become somewhat of an obsession for me. also did you mounted this long coil in the pipe? coz it looks like, but i'am not sure...
