LOL my school alarm was faulty

i was talking to my English teacher when a student ran up to us saying there was a fire.

we ran over and as soon as we went into a the English corridor it was full of smoke xD

someone had lit all the lockers on fire xD

the alarm didn't go off, and the fire extinguishers didn't work.

so eventually they got the evacuation alarm going and we all survived. yay us LOL

We had something like this at school but they set fire to a bin in one of the music stair's so it was all black and the damage was so bad it had 2 be closed for renavation

we had summin like this @ our school. Sum1 set fire to a toilet roll and the whole boys toilets caught on fire!!! - Your school dosen't have many fire exits does it... it took u ages 2 get out! we've got 1 around every corner!

LOL bcuse we decided 2 walk thru the skool, if we turned left or went str8 ahead we wld of been out quicker but we decided 2 be awkward nd mad hehe. Sports centre has fire exits everywhere tho. lol skool like 70ish yrs old so the window can be the fire exit hehe.

I have wired up my whole house withna twinflex system (watch the video. I think my alarm is a bit dumb because when the alarms sound they all do a quick continuous tone blast and then the alaternating tone starts. Do the ones at your school do the same?

Like you say. Does your fire alarm with sounder in onli work with a certain panel? ITS TRUE. Is your alarm the same one as your schools?

Yeah i got dah same 1 as mah skl's 1 lol. aint been able 2 test it bcuse the inside conponents look a bit sensitive 2 be hotwired 2 a charger :P

Is the company that made it rafiki? coz I got 2 twinflex multipoints and sounders to try and hotwire but when I wire it up to ma fire alarm panel just the detector works! basically when th detector goes into alarm it sends a signal to the panel saying what unit and type of detector activated then the panel can send another signal back to the detector to say 'sound the alarm in that device only or sound all of them'. I just took mine apart to pieces and still couldnt get it to work!!

for a fire drill do they press a button on the control panel or do they smash a glass on a call point?

Well they can either press a 'Manual Evac' button on the panel (or one similar to that) or they can use a test key in a fire alarm callpoint but they never smash it cause thats a bit of a waste of money...

do you have any fire alaem sounders on the exterior of the school? or are they all inside, we have fire alarm sounders on the outside of our school and they are REALLY loud! they are louder than the ones in the school

Yer! Red 1's wat whoop wid a flashy strobe theres like 3 round dah skl nd ive only ever seen 2 work but dah playground 1 never works lol only ever seen it work once when the new fire alarm was put in lol funy day bcuse no1 knew it was the new fire alarm when it was put in (well no1 in our class) hehe and the fire alarm went off for like 1hr 30mins which was so funny :P...

lol we are told we have 2 stand silent but no1 usually does it only happens when the teachers turn all nasty nd shout saying stuff like u need to be quiet because if we need to go somewhere else if the fire spreads and if u keep chatin ur in bad trouble blah blah. worst thing to do is run back into the building they absolutely flip lmao! (Once we didnt even leave the building becuase it went off 5x in 1 day!!)

LOL! yer ur right on that 1! by rights we shld of turned left because thats the more quickest way outside but we turned left because its more quicker to the assembly point area. :P
