There's a video here on youtube of two guys finishing off an RX-7 with a blown rotor, and it takes ~7 minutes, with about 4 of those minutes with the temperature gauge pegged at max temperature.

most 4-rotors are 24A since 2x 12A are cheaper and easier to build then 2x 13B only cars really made are the 787B and Furai with N/A 26B (and yes N/A its possible the 787B made 900bhp n/a with 26B)

A 24A is not cheaper than 2x 13B's. 13B engines (atleast in this country) are just as cheap as most 12A. REW engines are slightly more, however the customizations required to convert it to a 4 rotor are huge (fuel managment and tuning). The Mazda 787B was putting out 700bhp and is significantly different in it's design in comparrson to Bruce McEwens's (the featured car in this vid is Bruce's car) .. the 787B had 3 sparkies per rotors and thus the timing was completely different.

No I mean the R26B, a quad rotor used in the 787B when it won the le mans. 950 @ 10K RPM and that was N/A, Queens street racing has one with a single turbo that outputs 1650Hp.

Really a twin turbo quad rotor would make you go into orbit.
