well, I'm not familiar with that technique. Regarding the midi connection, you can simply use any MIDI interface with USB. I my self use the EDIROL interface by Roland, which is pretty inexpensive. About 30 dollars.

Well, it has never happened to me so far. I think it's a great kit to consider if you don't have plenty of room or if you need something easy to carry around! Thanks for looking!
I'm considering buying one of these. Do you ever come close to smacking the module by mistake? Mounted in between the two toms, it seems like a dangerous place.
Now I'm confused... @ivusp and @ivuivuivu are the same person? Are you the one playing on this video? But you're using a double bass drum... How did you set that up? I found a way btw... gonna post it in a few...
Nice playing! I also have an HD1 and Superior Drummer. When I start Garageband everything sounds perfect - no latency whatsoever. My only question: how do I assign different sounds to each pad. For example: I want a set where the Ride is actually a second crash (or a crash/ride, if possible), and another set with a double-bass, as you did. Any tips? Thanks
