A lot of it has to do with the driver. I have beaten a 2006-ish M3 from a 30mph roll with the M3 having an intake/exhaust. Most 350Z/G35 drivers can not drive. I have beaten modded ones with my stock 2006 350Z GT.

to exqisitejaz... if a 335i barely passed u... either they werent really racing you or ur GS430 is modded pretty well, because stock for stock 335 will ownd u, Ive owned GS400 & a G35 coupe 6spd ...the GS felt faster because of the torque but on the track the G35 proved to be faster #'s dont lie stock 4 stock GS430 cannot "smoke" a G35 sedan or coupe ..it can win depending on driver but not "smoke" ...not stock at least

Why would you turbo a GS? Those things are like boats, that is why the made the IS (Intelligent SPORT)...

and I agree with someone saying earlier about frying your engine doing that, as I am sure you just turbo'd the stock engine, putting far more stress on it than it is built for.

I own an IS300, on which I am working on a 2JZ motor swap.

I also have a 335i BMW (that is a factory twin turbo'd model) - and I know for a fact that it is far more "must have" than any GS....
