Hey Chendo! Good to hear from you! Tell the boys I say hello.
The Peru film is slow going and needs financial backing in order to finish it. Tell people who could assist in making this story happen. It needs to be told and our surfing tribe should know this info. Thanks and stay stoked!

What is important here is that, regardless of who was first or second in wave riding (Hawaii has indeed an old heritage, too), there was a great ancient culture in Peru which knew how to sail the sea with its 'caballitos de totora' for its primary needs and simultaneously and majestically ride its waves for fun, too.
Hopefully this equation will be clear for the dear reader:
Caballitos de totora = marca peruana = made in Peru.
I agree Jorge. Surfing may have been done in many parts of the world before recorded history and since Peru has the oldest records of an ancient surf culture the story needs to be told. Yes, let's go surfing.
Surf was first invented by Polynesians, bringing it to Hawaii with them.
