they eat sharks' fins cause they think that by doing so, they will be able to prevent themselves from getting illnesses, as they think that sharks do not get diseases such as cancer, among others. well, sharks get sick as well. it's so friggin' stupid, man.

Actually... alot of scientist and doctors are starting t obelieve that there is a chemical or organ in the shark that can actually proove to fight off cancer... its true google it.

We can already cure cancer. We've been doing it for 50 years. We don't need sharks.

Sharks have so much mercury in their bodies from our toxic waste that eating shark is more likely to cause cancer than fight it.

First off let me express my condolences. I am sorry for your loss. I too have a brother and can only imagine.

We "can't cure cancer" because the government actually bans any method that actually works. It's called money. 350 BILLION a year in pharmaceuticals and all they do is make us sicker.

Rate of Cancer (1900): 1 in 30.

Rate of Cancer (2010) 1 in 2.

Obviously, this modern medical evolution is killing us.

I know a method that I have yet to see fail. Whenever I bring it up though, people scoff and laugh.

I have personally sent six leukemia patients (close friends) to a clinic that deals with this method. I have also sent 7 cancer patients (pancreatic, lung, brain, marrow) to this clinic as a friend and they have all walked out healthy.

My first boss's mom had lung cancer spread to the brain. 6 weeks to live. Took out a mortgage to pay for the clinic. Walked out alive and well.

you're forgetting that they do this to ILLEGAL FISHING BOATS! Get all the facts. Sea Shepherd also gives a warning first and tells the boats to stop fishing illegally! If you've seen SHARKWATER you'll see exactly how Sea Shepherd is the opposite of terrorism. They don't kill innocent civilians. They don't even kill people intentionally.
