so every time you turn it on you have to boot it with the 123 thing and the osx cd?

@claytonthomasdalk Nope, just the first 2 times, then you can install the boot loader to the main hard drive.

Hypothetically speaking...
Would one be able to do this with an unofficial CD? I'm not asking this out of personal interest but only because out of all the Dell Mini installs here, not one of them mentions using Kalyway or Leo4All or iDeneb or anything like that. Is it impossible to do?

its a lot harder to do this on a dell, i fiddled around with it on my lenovo s10-2, soo much more simpler, i think you guys should show how to do it on other netbooks/dual booting

I just bought the max osx 10.5.6 install cd, and I have 3gb of ram. How fast do you think it will be when I install it on my pc.
