  • @lilmizzcutie247 hello. Yes the bands will help wirh your jumps. they will helpe build leg strength, hip strength and a stronger core . All this will help you have the strength and balance to push off the floor for higher jumps, more body control and safe landing.

  • hey it would be so awesome if you could answer this- im going to be a freshman next year and I want to try out for my JVHS cheer squad. My coach is on the VHS team but she told me I need to practice my jumps and middle splits and gymnastics. Where can I get these bands and how long has that girl been jumping for because I cant go that high at all. If you have the time could you answer my question(s) thank you.

  • That's not how you do a toe touch.

  • Its not as complicated as hes making it seems. Start your arms in a high V then swing them down and throw your legs up. It'll make them appear higher if you put your arms between your legs while your doing a toe touch and point your toes.

  • Start with a Clasp and then high V then swing your arms in. it will give you better power.

  • bend down far but keep your back straight and push off with lots of power and that will get your jumps very high (: then squeeze your butt cheeks when your coming down from your jump and it'll bring your legs together. hope this helps xD

  • I think the best way to do a proper toe touch is by practice , not by buying some leg band that probably wouldnt even work.

  • @CassiNicole0 hey joined cheer just a year ago so now im a sophmore but i want my jumps to be so much more higher do you know any good things to do tht will help alot and somewhat fast

  • Make sure you snap your legs down faster so you'll land both feet together. (The motions are clasp at chest level, hit high V, cross your arms down while bending forming a "X" over your legs, jump up in a "T" position with legs up in toe touch, then snap down quickly. It works better when you use a fist rather than actually reaching for your toes. Be sure to point your toes while in the air) This takes practice, but if you pracitce with ankle weights it will be way higher in no time. (:

  • make sure you keep your toes pointed and back straight and since your just starting out it will train you that way and if you clap on 1,2 and bring your arm up on 3.4 and pull up on 5,6 it will make your jump come together more good luck not bad

  • hi i am a cheer =leader and you need to instead of putting your legs out to the side is to bing them in front of you in a v like you are doing a straddle stretch on the floor

  • hi i am a cheerleader a really good thing to think a bout is to not put your legs out to the side but to bright them up in a v in the front of your body like u are doing a straddle on the floor to stretch.

  • haha if you clap then keep that clasp and move ur arms straight over ur head then swing around to a toe touch it might be easier. when ur arms go up u can go up on ur toes then wen they swing down u can bend ur legs :) u can watch some jumps on our youtube page :)
