@mindingosafado uh, what? are there not a TON of good indie rock american bands? menomena, tokyo police club, the album leaf, sea wolf, band of horses, the strokes, the shins, maps & atlases, minus the bear, nada surf, passion pit...I could go on for a long time. not that I dont discount brit indie I mean Ive got a ton of that as well. Still I would hardly say the US is muscially depressing.
