if it isn`t 03 it would not work, becuase some laser pointers dosent have 03, and if you do it anyway it would destroy the laser. 03 is a stabilazer who stable the heet, so it dont burn it out

@arbitor8 carpets like his are extremely hard to catch fire, because they are made of plastic, that has been drawn into strings and made into a fabric. it's definately possible to catch plastic on fire, but not by a match, and if it catches fire, it's a very low inneficeint flame, most of it is smoke, and would burn itself out in a few seconds cause the melted plastic would extinguish the flame.

i bought a $50 green 5mw laser from radio shack and i tried to do everything in this video, i tightened the screw and i think i found component 03 or maybe i couldnt see it right and it wasnt. so i got frustrated and heated up all the damn components for about 5 seconds each and nothing worked. it still lights up but doesnt burn things. somebody plz for christ sake help me
