All these people saying they missed out parts in the books: I don't think you should go in to a Harry Potter movie expecting everything to be like the book. I think you should watch a Harry Potter movie like you have never read the book, and you don't know what's going to happen. You will get a much better experience from the movie. Of course the movie and books will be much different, that's what makes it so special. Treat your book experience and movie experience differently, not combined.

@PeteAnimation i know- this book is the longest, i'm reading it at the moment and am on page 183 and they have only just arrived at hogwarts! 766 pages in total- they cant possibly put the whole thing in the film- shame though. the dumbledore/ harry looong conversation about dumbledore telling harry every thing really should have the whole thing in the film! x

I personally think that the films have put every right part in the films. Anything more and those who aren't mega-fans wouldn't have enjoyed them, and they'd have gone on a little too much. The always keep in the main parts and this is my second favourite of them all.

It was good but they must find it hard to cram all the information from such a long book into such a small space of time. But I do agree they missed out some key parts of the story.

i dont like this movie too much, its ok, but it kinda is overly focused on Voldermort, where as in every book there is the voldermort element as well as a side about harry's personal/friend problems. The other movies had this side too

I was one of the first people to see this movie in my town, and it was sensational! I loved it. Even though they had to cut out some really good parts it was still great. Not the best ever, but really really close. ^.^

What they did on the ministry part was much better than in the book! but otherwise, yes they could have followed the book a little moore.
