Actually, cutey honey made several reoccurring appearances. (3 ovas, a live action movie and show, cutey honey flash, and new cutey honey)

There can be a possibility that Ranma and Urusei Yatsura can come back. They already made an ova for both of them so why not continue the series?

@candycandy1234568, I can understand Ranma 1/2 finishing up the anime because it never did cover all the manga volumes, but with Urusei Yatsura it doesn't need to. They covered the last volume in the 6th movie and put out OVA"s of other manga chapters. There's really no big story that the UY needs to cover.

In the manga the Oni was a silly little demon, annoying but ultimately harmless as the "true form" was only in the anime.

that was an AWESOME!!! profile I never noticed that there were Urusei Yatsura characters in Ranma 1/2 well except for the fact if you gave Shampoo green hair and horns then she would look like Lum(I love Shampoo).

I thought the oni would be showing up before the end of the month, though Lum was a pleasant surprise. Heh but Takahashi-san does love crossover... in a later filler chapter of the Inuyasha managa Shampoo is shown partaking in a festival.

I've always been interesting in seeing Urusei Yatsura properly though. I've only seen one of the movies... it's the only one of Rumiko Takahashi's properties I haven't seen.

hm actually it was the anime... episode 128 (if my research is correct. it's a filler episode, shampoo makes a very brief visual cameo. Detective conan can also be seen there.
