I'm a solid atheist with strong opinions and a free mind... And I'm actually enjoying this series thus far :) I still won't be convinced in the existence of a god, but it's great to see how this particular guy uses actual logic and reason in his explanations. You're a rationalist first, and I respect that!
@faithislife86 I already have seen that. I cannot be convinced to follow any religion, nor do I support theology. I stand grounded until tangible evidence is brought to the table. Nevertheless, I am always to whatever my opposition has to say, as any good skeptic should.
"If he was discussing a mythical character, he would not have had to go to such lengths, but to have merely dismissed Jesus as a myth. After all, there is no easier way to discredit a religion than to assert its founder never existed." Rrrriiiight…now THAT is a sound argument.
The bitch about it is that I'm writing a paper questioning the historicity of Jesus, and being a good skeptic I'm trying to find a strong argument FOR his existence, not against. The only reason the idea even came to me is bc we all just assume the biblical description of Jesus is 100% fact, failing to realize that the one source most accept is, well, alotta bit biased. Lemme tall ya, in my autobiography I'm about 2 inches taller, 3 inches longer, 40 lbs. lighter, & 50 times cooler LOL
When I talk with my kid about Santa Claus or his supernatural powers, I'm not proving his existence by making statements by stating that I don't think his reindeer can fly. For that matter, assuming his existence for the sake of a theoretical conversation doesn't even prove my belief regarding his existence or his capabilities. I'm sure there's some official "––– fallacy" name for this argument, but in lieu of that, I'll simply call it a paper thin argument.

i have often wondered that if HE did not exist, why are we as a civilization still talking about it. Surely if HE did not exist, or do what HE did when on earth, then HE would never have become the historical figure HE was, reson why would anyone follow a man who meant little to so many and so much to so few. it simply makes no sense, we are talking just over 2000 yrs, a long time to say the least, for people to have proved otherwise. the really frightening part is that the alternative to HIM
So a man named Jesus existed. So what? That doesn't mean he was the son of a god nor that he was a savior or otherwise supernatural. This video is useless.
@ZelphKinderhook haha there is plenty of evidence for that as well. the purpose of this series is to give real unbias accurate information since there is a number of people starting to believe the newly founded jesus myth. they came up with the jesus myth because there was too much evidence for the resurrection, so they had to revert to him never existing.
Oh really? What is this "plenty of evidence" that you have, that he was the son of a god or a savior? So funny how you christians tell others that they're wrong, yet you never provide a shred of evidence. FAIL.
@ZelphKinderhook you won't listen to anything i say or believe me, so since you have so much time on your hands, why don't you research it for yourself?
Chrestus is a greek word, translated to english as Christ, and the meaning is 'annointed one' which they considered all their pagan greek gods to be 'annointed' or Chrestus. But the historical reality of Yeshua's -(Jesus) existance cannot be denied. Some have tried to deny Kind David existed as well, and other Biblical figures many have been proved to exist through some artifact or another bearing their name and title.
Now - you're the one clutching at straws. Celsus who wrote this stuff (H.Chadwick, Origen:Contra Celsum, CUP 1965. p xxviii) His story is widely regarded as fanciful, including the idea that Jesus' father is a roman, Pantera. All of this comes from Origen (the work by Celsus is lost) in his comprehensive refutation. Thallus is next, but I'll wait until Part IV for that. As I say there is SOME evidence, but we need more yet...
Tha fact that Celsus was aware of the story of Jesus is no proof of Jesus, only that Celsus was aware of his story. No writings of Celsus exist only references made by Origen in HIS writings & Origen, the church's first theologian, often quoted Josephus but never the 127 word 'Golden Paragraph' supposadly writen by Jo about Jesus. There is NO contemporaneous writings about Jesus, anywhere. The first 4 books of the NT were not writen by any desciple. They were not writen in Aramaic but Koine Greek.
This was after his resurection, for me as more proof because these people were the witnesses and I see no one discrediting them though during that time they were asked to deny him or die - 1Co 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
That background music is awesome, where can I get a copy of that music's download? Also, great job. I don't know if this is in Part 4 as I have not read it but Archaleogy confirms findings of Jesus and his mother Mary and Joseph. The Shroud of Turin has his DNA in it and he has no biological father, further proving he not only existed but he is Divine. Also, many people that have had miracles performed to them in the name of Jesus where not Christians originally but by miracles became one.
@JZ2001JC I'm pretty sure that the background music is Led Zeppelin 'You're Time is Gonna Come'. It's from Zeppelin's first album. If I'm correct, I find it really hilarious that they choose this music.
hmm interesting vids.I wish more skeptics would actually watch these and address the issue. But that just goes to show both sides have bias. But what i see is that people are like "hey jesus was real, mean everything in the bible has to be as well"
I could say "Abraham Lincoln liked black chicks", and some people would believe it right away. Others would say "show me the proof" (whether or not proof existed), and some others would say "Abraham Lincoln was a myth created to abolish slavery". Which one is right? Are any of them right?
How can weak, corrupt human beings understand Truth? It's not possible except by faith.
Atheism is the RELIGION of "random coincidence". Atheists believe that everything exists by a long line of random, impossible coincidences that somehow culminated in life and human consciousness. Atheism requires more "blind faith" than all religions put together. Life and consciousness are impossible, yet they exist. We are characters in someone's lucid dream, and that someone is "God". All is energy, energy is thought. All exists in the mind of He who made it within and of Himself.

@lespauls61 EYE WITNESS accounts were written in the bible. This video was meant to prove the accuracy of the bible without using the bible. So unbelievers like you may see that the bible is indeed true.
@MrMcNeech204 Fool, there are NO 'eye witness' accounts of Jesus in the bible, even Albert Schweitzer a famous theologian wrote;"The Jesus of Nazareth who came forward publicly as the Messiah, who preached the ethic of the kingdom of God, who founded the kingdom of heaven upon earth and died to give his work its final consecration never existed." There are NO contemporaneous accounts of Jesus writen anywhere. If you wish to believe in the bible without proof then that's up to you.
"Iudaeos impulsore Chresto assidue tumultuantis Roma expulit" is actually
The Jews by the instigator Chrestus constantly were rioting from Rome he expelled.
More clearly, the Latin reads: "The Jews, who were constantly rioting because of to the instigator Chrestus, he expelled from Rome." Sounds like Chrestus was still alive and kicking when Claudius kicked the Jews out in 49 CE.
Comment about impulsore Chresto #2: Latin Word Study Tool at Perseus (dot) Tufts (dot edu shows"impulsore," (noun) to be the singular masculine ablative case for "impulsor." It also shows "Chresto" to be the same for "Chrestus." The specific case is ablative of personal agent, i.e.: by, with, due to, because of, etc (person mentioned).
Thank you for taking so much of your time and such a blessing to strengthen one's faith in our Lord and our King. Please keep up the great work and please keep in touch and may God continue to use you as a tool of faith for His glory.
May I know the researcher of this 4 series proving the existence of Christ through historical data. I wish to commend the said person for a good and well laid argument that hits the very heart of agnostics and skeptics plays their logic games. This is a good educational materials that should be a MUST SEE and studied well by Christian theologian before they set out on their field assignments. Not only by heart or by calling they stand but must have a well founded knowledge of Jesus himself.

Great video series. As a student of history, I must say it is nice to see someone depict the events in an accurate matter, instead of manipulating them to try to prove a falsehood. It is also interesting to note that if we apply the same standards that atheists use to attempt to discredit Jesus, to other historical figures, we wouldn't be able to prove anyone before the 17th century existed.
@SolaFide729 Other historic figures havent been the cause for as much death and destruction as the mythical jesus. And nothing in this video is actual evidence. There is not ONE EYEWITNESS account which totally discredits any of these claims.
Celsus lived some 150-200 years after the existence of the supposed Jesus, his works although a very good explanation of history like most early historians, men of letters and philosophers was by NO MEANs ACCURATE. Celsus naturally had an opposing view of Christianity and saw it as in direct conflict to his own beliefs. His writings in no way support the apparent existence of a man god deity named Jesus but reflect not only the mood of the day but also hint at opposing myths to the xtian one
your talking about people who lived some 80-200 years after the apparent Jesus, but getting back to Thallus. His work does not survive and is only mentioned some 110 years (roughly) after his death. Christians tend to link this with that to get this.
For example I know Jesus was a real person because Julius Africanus wrote about Thallus and all these other people wrote about jesus and they did not lie when they wrote about Jesus. There is no evidence, the only stuff they can draw on is hearsay
Well obviously you really don't understand the study of history very well do you? If the finding of a tomb that bears the name of a man who could have been a leading rabbi at the time of the apprent jesus does not make jesus real. First of all no one knows who so and so is and that is a long way from implying therefore jesus does. as to the other wow pilot existed (maybe) Real proof is needed not conjecture. For example Jesus the name was a common name , so should everyone be asigned a deity
And further to this the Pilot inscription is 3 lines long-WOW what from 3 lines we conclude "the bible is true" come on! And another thing if you take all the non Xtian writngs about "a jesus" why not conclude that the words that are said are also true, it is not a two edged sword. You cannot say well jesus existed because people wrote about him then say what they said about him was false.
And on that the Gospels themselves were written at the earliest 75-100 years were after the supposed Jesus
Nearly all the scholars mentioned in all 4 videos barely devote a chapter of work to Christianity regarding the proponents as "nutters" And conventionality (for the most part) the Christians fail to mention that.
So Christians tend to link different people talking about different things under the one banner.
Man that's messed up. So then these churches are just lying about all of this knowingly? does anybody come out in the open when they find out? I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this cuz that is sick if they are just telling people that they will go to heaven and go to everyones funeral and so on. My brother stopped believing after being a christian his whole life. Yeah you're right this is all bullshit.
Just remember none of the other religions have got it right either. It is very well for someone to say I don't believe in Jesus etc then go on a rant about Buddha or any other religious deity.
And the sad fact about your brother (although now I would assume he is better for it) is the pain and constant strain that a faith requires.
We only have one life and we should make the most of it. Religion is just another way of how those who for no reason gain control, power and influence
Oh yeah my bro is in the Army and speaks Russian but before all that he went to a christian college like my dad. I stopped believing because of the Native American history that Christ and the bible doesn't seem to acknowledge. Our dad is hearing impaired and it sucks cuz he knows that we stopped believing and its like I want to believe so bad. I can't forget about the Mayan and Native tribes though. It is such a trip that the Bible says "have faith".
It sucks cuz deaf people are not really intelligent like we are because they are not recieving information as well as we can! So my dad takes the Bible so literally. Like he thinks the "Church of Christ" is THE right church just because it is stated like that in the Bible. I must say though as unbiased as I can be ....he is actually really smart for a deaf person!
As evolution is a FACT I have no need to try and disprove it. Secondly insults do not help your cause, but I would expect nothing else. When confronted with the hypocracy and lies (mileading use of historical data to present flawed evidence)of your argument you resort to dicrediting the messager not the data presented. That's the difference between dogma and science, one seeks the truth through undertanding and study, the other through a already perconcived viewpoint. Xtians Mulslims, Hindus etc
Stating that evolution is a fact is an assumption. Micro evolution, yes. The rest...assumptions.
Use to be a full blown atheist, tried to prove evolution to a friend and found out that it is not science, but instead a religion based on 'scientific' assumptions. I urge you to look at the fundamental principals of evolution.
And more to my last-You can either believe an all powerful, all seeing space daddy did it some 10,000 years ago. Who for His (because God has a dick-says so in the bible) or you can use logic and reason (that's where using study we know Dino's did not frolic in the garden of Eden)
Speed of Light-Xtians are idiots, any religion is stupidity (except for flying spaghetti monster)
oh lets not forget jesus saying be a good jew and kill your kids
@BibleAccuracyChannel Evolution is a fact. Get over it. The earth is 4.5 Billion years old and light speed is the distance light travels in one year. Dinosaurs existed hundreds of millions of years ago. and a big all powerful space daddy (with loins that shine like the sun) did not whip it into existence over a coffee 10,000 years ago. To believe otherwise is to be a moronic Christian fundamentalist who has lost all grasp of reality
@franks2732 No one can know everything. You are not objective. Your comments are biased. You will remain unable to learn, cause you choose to believe what you want to and not what is the truth.
Your deceptive and unfounded quote shows your attitude towards Christianity is negative, you would not except it through science or debate. Hope you find your way in the end. All the best:-)
@BibleAccuracyChannel strange how dumbass christians CLAIM TO KNOW EVERYTHING. The scientists are aware that they are trying to solve a puzzle and not just accept the magical man from the sky myth. As to bias... WTF! Christians hold the greatest bias on the earth!!! Atheists have always shown a greater willingness to learn than religious freaks who cannot deviate from their mythology one iota because it would expose the flimsy basis from which it has been derived.
@MikeWhiskyTango - I am a Christian and I do not claim to know everything. People are allowed to believe what they choose, there are proofs and claims to the existence of Jesus, in my opinion this doesn't discount anything science has proven either. In my experiences, I have seen the atheists act much more self knowing, self righteous, rude, and unwilling to learn. It's two opposite beliefs, and both will go to great lengths to defend them, it's our right as people.
@BibleAccuracyChannel Why is there no historical or archeological evidence to support the mythical Jesus. Why didn't Philo write about Jesus? He was a famous early first century historian than lived at the same time yet NOT ONE MENTION of jesus
@franks2732 LOL!!!!!!! There is a GOD. He is the one that created the heavens and the earth. Jesus is His only begotten Son. GOD is all knowing, And He is no space daddy. Yes He spoke all things into existence. Evolution is alot of hogwash. Only an idiot would believe in that garbage.
@franks2732 I am just one guy who was manipulated by the antichrist movement personally. You can just say that...THEY pissed me off. As ...for your snitty little comment against the Creator God...maybe i sit there for hours going into every detail there could ever be about the whole shabang with God...meanwhile, what are you doing ?
@franks2732 It is amusing reading your comments. You call those who believe in Jesus as MORONIC CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALIST WHO LOST ALL GASP OF REALITY but on your assumption and stated support data you assume it as an absolute correct and perfect including the assumed precise time. Mind you for disagreeing on your points but until present EVOLUTION IS STILL A THEORY AND NOT YET A LAW thus this point is still NOT ABSOLUTE AND CORRECT. This is already CLONE AGE but your argument is still a THEORY.
@Pfutztie Dude you believe in a "flying space daddy' who made everything approx 10,000 years ago. I believe in the evidence. You have blind faith, good luck with that
@franks2732 This guy just gave 4 videos of good, hard evidence proving the exsistence of Jesus and the proof of his divine power. So, I guess you're a Christian huh?
Atheism is the RELIGION of "random coincidence". Atheists believe that everything exists by a long line of random, impossible coincidences that somehow culminated in life and human consciousness. Atheism requires more "blind faith" than all religions put together. Life and consciousness are impossible, yet they exist. We are characters in someone's lucid dream, and that someone is "God". All is energy, energy is thought. All exists in the mind of He who made it within and of Himself.
@BibleAccuracyChannel Very good point! I am a Christian and understand well that micro-evolution is quite available and macro-evolution is strictly assumed. Scientists are philosophically pre-committed. You are right in saying that there is a point where science stops and scientific assumptions begin.
@SkepticsRock Your arguments is quite intriguing. Tell me as your argument shows I will give a thought to think of. You remember all your normal itineraries all day yesterday and try to spread it through by words of mouth and in writing to 1000 different persons who do not know you then after a week you ask this same people about what they have read and heard about you. Then you can come to conclusion about this argument you wish to discredit.
at this point we are past the people who lived durring the time, at most we might say that a person exisited who was claimed to be devine.

His writings in no way support the apparent existence of a man god deity named Jesus but reflect not only the mood of the day but also hint at opposing myths to the xtian one
SkepticsRock 2 years ago
What about Thallus though? I personally believe that Jesus was an actual person but like most of these Roman soldiers; I would question his divinity.
IwantAnewLife 2 years ago
your talking about people who lived some 80-200 years after the apparent Jesus, but getting back to Thallus.
SkepticsRock 2 years ago
Well obviously youve never heard of the caiphas ossuary or pilate caesara inscription.
Themaskedchristian77 2 years ago
Well obviously you really don't understand the study of history very well do you? If the finding of a tomb that bears the name of a man who could have been a leading rabbi at the time of the apprent jesus does not make jesus real. First of all no one knows who so and so is and that is a long way from implying therefore jesus does. as to the other wow pilot existed (maybe) Real proof is needed not conjecture. For example Jesus the name was a common name , so should everyone be asigned a deity
SkepticsRock 2 years ago
And further to this the Pilot inscription is 3 lines long-WOW what from 3 lines we conclude "the bible is true" come on! And another thing if you take all the non Xtian writngs about "a jesus" why not conclude that the words that are said are also true, it is not a two edged sword. You cannot say well jesus existed because people wrote about him then say what they said about him was false.
SkepticsRock 2 years ago
And on that the Gospels themselves were written at the earliest 75-100 years were after the supposed Jesus
Nearly all the scholars mentioned in all 4 videos barely devote a chapter of work to Christianity regarding the proponents as "nutters" And conventionality (for the most part) the Christians fail to mention that.
So Christians tend to link different people talking about different things under the one banner.
SkepticsRock 2 years ago
Man that's messed up. So then these churches are just lying about all of this knowingly? does anybody come out in the open when they find out? I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this cuz that is sick if they are just telling people that they will go to heaven and go to everyones funeral and so on. My brother stopped believing after being a christian his whole life. Yeah you're right this is all bullshit.
IwantAnewLife 2 years ago
Just remember none of the other religions have got it right either. It is very well for someone to say I don't believe in Jesus etc then go on a rant about Buddha or any other religious deity.
And the sad fact about your brother (although now I would assume he is better for it) is the pain and constant strain that a faith requires.
We only have one life and we should make the most of it. Religion is just another way of how those who for no reason gain control, power and influence
SkepticsRock 2 years ago
Oh yeah my bro is in the Army and speaks Russian but before all that he went to a christian college like my dad. I stopped believing because of the Native American history that Christ and the bible doesn't seem to acknowledge. Our dad is hearing impaired and it sucks cuz he knows that we stopped believing and its like I want to believe so bad. I can't forget about the Mayan and Native tribes though. It is such a trip that the Bible says "have faith".
IwantAnewLife 2 years ago
It sucks cuz deaf people are not really intelligent like we are because they are not recieving information as well as we can! So my dad takes the Bible so literally. Like he thinks the "Church of Christ" is THE right church just because it is stated like that in the Bible. I must say though as unbiased as I can be ....he is actually really smart for a deaf person!

You should turn your attention to debunking evolution. This would be more profitable for you.
All the best.
BibleAccuracyChannel 2 years ago
As evolution is a FACT I have no need to try and disprove it. Secondly insults do not help your cause, but I would expect nothing else. When confronted with the hypocracy and lies (mileading use of historical data to present flawed evidence)of your argument you resort to dicrediting the messager not the data presented. That's the difference between dogma and science, one seeks the truth through undertanding and study, the other through a already perconcived viewpoint. Xtians Mulslims, Hindus etc
franks2732 2 years ago
Stating that evolution is a fact is an assumption. Micro evolution, yes. The rest...assumptions.
Use to be a full blown atheist, tried to prove evolution to a friend and found out that it is not science, but instead a religion based on 'scientific' assumptions. I urge you to look at the fundamental principals of evolution.
BibleAccuracyChannel 2 years ago
In the words of every single human who is given the opportunity to study basic 5th grade science-You sir are an idiot
franks2732 2 years ago
And more to my last-You can either believe an all powerful, all seeing space daddy did it some 10,000 years ago. Who for His (because God has a dick-says so in the bible) or you can use logic and reason (that's where using study we know Dino's did not frolic in the garden of Eden)
Speed of Light-Xtians are idiots, any religion is stupidity (except for flying spaghetti monster)
oh lets not forget jesus saying be a good jew and kill your kids
franks2732 2 years ago
@BibleAccuracyChannel Evolution is a fact. Get over it. The earth is 4.5 Billion years old and light speed is the distance light travels in one year. Dinosaurs existed hundreds of millions of years ago. and a big all powerful space daddy (with loins that shine like the sun) did not whip it into existence over a coffee 10,000 years ago. To believe otherwise is to be a moronic Christian fundamentalist who has lost all grasp of reality
franks2732 1 year ago

MikeWhiskyTango 1 year ago
@MikeWhiskyTango - I am a Christian and I do not claim to know everything. People are allowed to believe what they choose, there are proofs and claims to the existence of Jesus, in my opinion this doesn't discount anything science has proven either. In my experiences, I have seen the atheists act much more self knowing, self righteous, rude, and unwilling to learn. It's two opposite beliefs, and both will go to great lengths to defend them, it's our right as people.
dallasballs123 1 year ago
@BibleAccuracyChannel Why is there no historical or archeological evidence to support the mythical Jesus. Why didn't Philo write about Jesus? He was a famous early first century historian than lived at the same time yet NOT ONE MENTION of jesus
lespauls61 1 year ago
@franks2732 LOL!!!!!!! There is a GOD. He is the one that created the heavens and the earth. Jesus is His only begotten Son. GOD is all knowing, And He is no space daddy. Yes He spoke all things into existence. Evolution is alot of hogwash. Only an idiot would believe in that garbage.

@franks2732 Evolution is NOT a fact! get over that.
willdoseago 1 year ago
@willdoseago mmm well I am afraid evolution is a fact and is real. it is your belief in an all powerful sky daddy that is laughable

@franks2732 I am just one guy who was manipulated by the antichrist movement personally. You can just say that...THEY pissed me off. As ...for your snitty little comment against the Creator God...maybe i sit there for hours going into every detail there could ever be about the whole shabang with God...meanwhile, what are you doing ?
willdoseago 1 year ago
@willdoseagotell me how did they manipulate you, this secret society of npn believers lmfao
franks2732 1 year ago
@franks2732 It is amusing reading your comments. You call those who believe in Jesus as MORONIC CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALIST WHO LOST ALL GASP OF REALITY but on your assumption and stated support data you assume it as an absolute correct and perfect including the assumed precise time. Mind you for disagreeing on your points but until present EVOLUTION IS STILL A THEORY AND NOT YET A LAW thus this point is still NOT ABSOLUTE AND CORRECT. This is already CLONE AGE but your argument is still a THEORY.
Pfutztie 1 year ago
@Pfutztie Dude you believe in a "flying space daddy' who made everything approx 10,000 years ago. I believe in the evidence. You have blind faith, good luck with that
franks2732 1 year ago
