Piano and guitar are my favourite music instruments.

I listen to Cannonball Adderley's original (off the Phenix album) just for Zawinul's piano but this guitar version literally drives nuts.

What guitar model issues this impeccable sound and why not throw this stunning cover out on the shelves? I'd be the first to grab a piece. Superb stuff!

Hey Julian. I'm honored you chose to do your assignment on my performance. The guitar is an Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II. I took the pick guard off for feel, look and sound. The sound comes from working the strings with both hands incorporating various muting, fingerpicking and strumming (including strumming multiple strings with all muted except the one with the melody note or the two or three for a harmony). Recording with a decent mic helps too! Thanks again and keep playing!

Really nice Kit. Fluid and in the groove baby. The bass track you put down compliments well and rises and falls above and below the guitar with a tasty flavor. Your twists on the melody were right on. I followed well and you brought me right back when you journeyed away. The final minute or so may have been my favorite. Will listen to this one again to be sure. Excellent work as usual, but calmly comfortable and juicy. This definitely was a plump and meaty groove. Fantastic work. 4 stars
