I had V8 and V6 same Jeep and man the V8 was powerful....I could take any car on the Highway in seconds but 3.7 is good too. Very quiet at driving and powerful.

the 3.7 was only available with a low range in 05 and I think 06. for 07 it was no longer available.

@al652000 they didnt have in the WKs in 05 either, mine unfortunatly doesnt have it, and i could have used it many times.

This is not bad at all actually. Remember that this 3.7l Laredo does not have 4WD Low. Just keep that in mind.

@11111grisha11111 Без проблем вряд ли. Снег был слежавшийся, и машина могла легко закопаться и сесть на днище. А вот это уже проблема - пока под всем днищем не подкопаешь - не выедешь

Just for all of you watching.. I had a 1992 and a 1998 cherokee (4.0)... I now have an 07 cherokee laredo 3.7.. The old Inline 6's blew my new on out of the water. Get the V8 if you want any use out of a newer jeep at all. If I'd known how bad the AWD and 3.7 were going to be I'd have gotten a v8. Apparently they get the same mpg!

@coldfu00 the 3.7 does not get the same mpg as the 4.7 and 5.7. The 3.7 gets about 3-4 mpg better. I would also not recommend the 4.7 because it gets the same mpg as the 5.7 and the 5.7 has about 60 or more horsepower than the 4.7. I got a 3.7 but I dont do serious off road stuff so it dont really matter for me.

@Erhorn300 Negative. The Laredo comes with a sort of AWD system. The difference is that to be a true 4-wheel-drive vehicle, it must have 4-low. I've never heard of a Laredo with the 3.7 having 4-low. It wasn't an option from Jeep.
