Thanks for the awesome tutorial! Does anyone know how to change your rails so that you can use electric trains? I just can't figure it out!

@poef10 i haven't played in a while but if i remember correctly you get electric rails in 1965 then just click and hold on the railway construction button and change it to electric

Openttd co-op has officially stated that using PBS signals along the mainline causes significantly more lag when train counts tip over 500.

What's the advantage of having multiple trains on the same track instead of one long? Locomotives cost a ton, but extra wagons cost little and the station costs would even out because you'd be making one long and not a few short ones. I don't see how a steady supply is worth the extra ~150k in cost, especially early in the game.

@SilentShadowLT I believe this is only a demo. You can use this system to connect to as many stations as you'd like and trafficking would allow you to queue trains. For example if you have 5 big train stations you can avoid making railway for each train and just let them reuse it.

una pregunta como puedo impedir q los trenes entren en el cobertizo de nuevo, yo quiero que solo entren en el cobertizo cuando lo necesiten, solo van de la estacion al cobertizo y no llegan a la otra estación como puedo hacer q no entren en el cobertizo d eantemano gracias

You must be pretty experienced to set this up first try no mistakes, i am completely new to signals and dont understand their uses (other than exit and entry signals, the one way and block signals)

A more in depth tutorial would really be of help to me

God I cant get these Signals in this game... I cant run 2 tracks side by side and make 3 trains run ok on them.. Hell I can hardly get 2 trains to run on them without jamming up.

@Chrisfragger Make sure your putting the one-way signals on the track, also go into the advanced options and find the signal spacings, change it to 1 or 2, ill do another tutorial more in depth if you still cant get it

@Chrisfragger one more thing, also make sure the factories your transporting from or station rather... is able to keep up with the train, if it doesnt have a high enough production rate, it can cause them to jam unless you have more then 1 station slot at the same factory
